Q: What is the difference between red and red intense? does the fragrance change?

A few of the notes are different between the red and red intense versions. Intense has ginger, leather, and red cedar in it while original red has redwood and generally more of an amber hearth to it. The red intense is an edp which is more concentrated than the original red, which is an edt. I really like the original but hate the intense. They don't smell the same at all on me. Top notes of intense stick around too long making it sickeningly sweet and the cedar base notes are far too synthetic.

Q: I saw the advertisement with a sample for this fragrance in a magazine advertised as "polo red extreme". is this the same?

Polo Red is not the same as Polo Extreme. Hope this helped.

The first is the earlyist you will receive it, the second is the lateist you will recive it
