OtterBoxSymmetry Clear series protective case for Apple iPhone 11, slim, drop-proof, transparent case, stardust

Volume buttons fell out and the flexible parts of the case ripped.I tried to claim under warranty but the otterbox website referred me back to Amazon and Amazon referred me back to otterbox.

I’ve had this case for a year now. Not only has it saved my phone from drops to hard floors but it’s survived being tossed about by baboons while I was working in a monkey sanctuary in South Africa. Baboons literally had my phone and bounced along the floor. The fact I’m using that same phone to write this review says it all. 5* all round!

The product was a little more expensive than some on the market, but my phone fits snugly into the case, leaving a lip all around of a few millimetres. It is this lip that helps to protect the phone from the effects of impact.I’ve not experienced any discolouration, as discussed in many reviews, but I have only had the product for a few weeks. This is something I need to keep an eye on and I would update my review accordingly.I love the Otterbox range of products, I just wish I’d bought a screen protector too as I’ve managed to scratch my screen whilst in my bag.

I can’t fault how fast this was delivered, but upon arrival I was shocked at the low grade plastic used by otter box. I’ve been using otter boxes since the iPhone 4. They have been top quality products that take years of daily abuse. This case, I’d go as far as it say it’s not fit for purpose. There is no soft internal padding to prevent scratches to the back of the phone. The plastic is very hard with sharp edges & what’s more it’s slippery in the hand & just feels cheap. Come on otter box your better than this! The ‘defender’ case is twice the price of this one but if this now the quality of the cases there not worth it. I got a full refund as the product was very poor.

I bought this for my daughters phone, small price to pay to protect something so pricey at the end of the day.She had a fancy but flimsy one before this that wasnt going to protect it very well in a fall and that would have been the end of the phone.This looks fantastic, clear with glitzy bits that make her phone pop! Looks great and having had one of these brand protectors previously, the case will outlive the phone no doubt!Very secure, does not come off easily.Its about 10 pounds more expensive than a high street cover, well worth it for protection.These phones are expensive, protect them!

I agree with a previous reviewer who is saying this cover feels cheap. I've always bought the Symmetry Otterbox for all my phones but this one does not feel as sturdy and rubbery. More like a rigid plastic with a cheap feel.Also for some strange reason my fingers get really sweaty from holding it. At first I though my hand might be wet but then I realised after holding it for awhile my fingers started to sweat from the plastic?

We get Otterbox Symmertry for our phones every 2 years. When we trade in our old ones they are always Grade A and I've dropped my 6S/SE off ladders, down stairs and accidentally launched across the room over the last 4 years - they're brilliant. On the new pastel yellow iPhone the glitter case is beautiful. The only downside to the clear ones is that they yellow over time.

Bought this sparkle / glitter cover for my iPhone 11 Product Red. It looked good and I was looking forward to seeing the sparkle on the back. Unfortunately as soon as I placed the case on my phone, I knew I wouldn't be able to keep it as it's too wide. I have little hands and was using a Spigen on my XR.(same dimensions as iPhone 11). I transferred the Spigen case on to the iPhone 11 whilst waiting for the Otterbox to arrive.The Spigen has served me well. I dropped my XR many times outside face down whilst getting out of the car and there is not one scratch on the phone so I was able to sell on for premium price.With the Otterbox now on my 11, I felt as it I couldn't operate the phone one handed. When I compared the width, the Otterbox is about 4-5mm wider than the Spigen. Such a small amount but a huge difference in my hand.I have no doubt the case will is as good as the Spigen, if not better but unfortunately not for me. I had to return it. An excellent refund policy from Amazon.
