Great fit if you're muscular/a little chubby
Im 5'9 195lbs, and i ordered the 36/30. it's difficult for me to find pants that fit right, I usually have to size up to 38 pants just so the thighs/seat fit me. I instantly loved these pants when I tried them on, they are soft and have a good fit without being too baggy in the front. I'm not sure about the durability since i just received them, but I took a gamble and ordered these. If you are athletic, or a little chubby with big thighs/butt these are the pants for you. 10/10 love them

If you really have quads, these are your pants!
I’m amazed at how well these pants fit. I’m 5’9” 230lbs BF% in the low double digits. 35x30 fit perfect. If you really squat and have the quads and glutes to show for it. These are your pants. The fit better than the Levi/Dockers flat front athletic cut pants. I don’t have to get 36 or 38 waist and have a sloppy waist line with a fitted shirt or spend $20 to have the waist taken in to look neat.

Good for the money, comfortable, but PLEASE add dark khaki
UPDATE - Amazon finally added dark khaki (they call it beige caramel, which is exactly the same color as dark khaki from their other cuts) to this cut. I ordered those, and they're lovely. Now five stars.Overall, very nice. The material isn't super-thick and is flexible and soft. They run a little large, so I'd order half a size (a full size?) down, i.e., if you're 34 waist, order a 33.I'm a hiker and biker, so my legs are a bit too thick for slim fit, so it's hard to find pants that have a good fit in the waist while not being tight in the legs and crotch (or that fit nicely in the legs and crotch but are in the waist). I tend to get clothes in slim fit in a size up and then shrink them, and these pants hit just about the best balance I've been able to find so far between waist room and leg room.I bought six pair of 35-waist athletic fit pants to replace some 36-waist pants that were way too big, and found the 35-waist pants were only marginally smaller - if not smaller than - the old 36s. I exchanged them for some 34s, and find that they fit much better. They are still a little loose, but I'm happy with how comfortable they are. I'm hoping they will shrink some after a few more trips through the dryer. My only complaint is the color. I HATE the standard khaki color (in general, not just on these pants).PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE add a dark khaki color option like you have with the relaxed, regular, and slim fit cuts of these pants.

Good Price, Decent Quality, Great Size Options
Just thought I'd give these a try due to the price. The pants seem very good for the price, roomy as advertised and the range of inseam lengths is excellent. The only issue I have with them is that the waist seems to be significantly over-sized. I buy the same size waist for Dockers and LL Bean pants, but the waist on these was definitely 2" larger than advertised. Still, all in all I can't complain given the price and the otherwise great fit.

Athletic Guy Rejoice!
I have never written an Amazon review, but this changed everything. As a big guy (6'7" 260lb.) who played sports through college, I have always had a difficult time finding comfortable, sylish, durable clothes. After researching pants for my job as a teacher, for the entire summer, I decided to take a risk on these. I say risk, because can a $20 pair really deliver? So far they have.Pros - Lightweight, Nice cut (generous where it needs to be, and straight/tapered where they need to be), Nice flex to them; waistband fits on the larger side, without being sloppyCons - "Wrinkle Resistant" is not wrinkle free, which is fine, but just needed to adjust my expectations; Seeing a little wear after one time through wash on one pair; the degree to which a pant is tapered/straight seems to slightly vary by pair, despite being the same size, etc.. Mind you, none of this would determe from buying again. The bottom line: Amazon, please keep making these. I bought 4 pair initially, and upon receipt/wear, immediately bought 2 more.

You get what you pay for, runs a little long
The pants are an inch or two longer than expected so you may want to order a shorter pair than you usually would. I'm a 32x30 and typically order from J Crew for khakis, and wear Levi's jeans. Waist fit as expected. My other complaint is that one pair has the dye washing off after a single wash (see photos). Literally washed these together and wear was the same. Machine wash cold, Tide Free and Clear detergent. They are really comfortable and other than the length fit very well and look good except for that discoloration on the one pair.

Perfect fitting, Quality material, wide selection, and great value for the $$$
1st - the pance are very well made , good stitching, very good material not cheap feeling or very thin. I measured myself prior to ordering and the pance matched my measurements perfectly. I bought them just a little larger in the waist then washed before I actually wore them. shrinkage was minimal but enough to make the fit perfect. Definitley will purchase this brand (Amazon Essentials) again for my casual pance.2nd - Thoroughly impressed, my first time purchasing clothing in all the 4 years Ive shopped with Amazon cause Im short and always have to buy pance too long to get the right waist size due to the stores inventory. Amazon has a great inventory , Im a 30’w 29’ L which is hard to find in most clothing stores I shop but not at Amazon; normally I have to settle for 30’ 31’ or 30’ 32-33’

Perfect for guy who squats
These are perfect for the guy who lifts and has a muscular lower body. Tapers into the ankle so you don’t have flare out looking bottoms. Great and at $18 just a steal. I’ve been wearing the Essentials Straight and like them but these give me a bit more room.

Huge Chinos
These Chinos are more like a straight fit, not athletic fit, you could even go as far as loose fit. The legs are wide all the way down the leg, the bottom leg width measures a whopping 22cm. I'm not sure how athletic you have to be to wear these Chinos, but you really do need to have huge legs.

Great Trousers At A Good Price
I needed a pair of trousers temporarily because of a waistline problem!! Provided my diet works I should be back in my normal size in the future but in the meantime I needed something in the next size up. Hence the decision to purchase a budget item. To be honest, at the price, I did not expect anything great. However, upon receipt I was very pleasantly surprised. These trousers are manufactured to a high quality, the material is comfortable and seems durable but reasonably light. The fit (35x29) is exactly what I expected and style is as good as any fancy labelled product. I am so happy with my purchase I intend putting in an order for another pair in a different colour.

Lots of space for athletic thighs !!
Great trousers, but I had to get 33w trousers as the 34w was too big. I usually buy 34w athletic fit or 36w normal fit, so you can use this to guide your selection. For the price, you can’t go better than these. They are just as good as GAP athletic fit khakis, but for a fraction of the price. I’ll be stock-piling these !!

Not just for athletic individuals but larger too
As someone with larger legs/thighs, this is amazing. I've never felt so free in trousers. No need for a belt whilst it's loose on the thighs too. The material is quite comfortable too. My only worry is that it may lose its colour/will look worn out after a few washes which I have read in a few reviews. If I experience deterioration/shrinkage. I'll update my review. Until then, assume it's all well.

Good trousers poor delivery
I normally take a 38" waist 31" leg (though 30" would be more accurate.) I tried the 36" following and found that to be a snug fit all over. Prefering comfort I sent those back and tried a 38" waist and they are loose and comfy - need a belt but that's how I like it.The fact that the delivery driver just dropped them outside my door when he could surely have pushed a single pair of chinos through my letterbox - isnt so good. I was out working and they could easily have been picked up by anyone passing by.
