First and foremost, the 1st handle is 18" from the collar connector. I tried to find this from reviews because it is not in the description and it took me some time to find it but I did. This should be in the product description because some are 12" and some are 18". It is heavy duty and well made. It allows me to have more control over the distance my dog has in certain situations. I also using it when he is training and it connects to a front harness. When walking in the dark the combination of the reflective leash and the light on his collar makes us easily seen. The handles are comfortable and padded.

I really like that this leash comes in different lengths, and that I was able to get a 4-foot leash with an extra handle. The lower handle is at the perfect length for me to use with my dog - he's about 40 pounds and wears a harness with the leash clipped in the front. That first section of leash seems very sturdy; it's got two layers sewn together. The section behind that, to the main handle, is one layer and is surprisingly thin. Given that it's nylon, it will likely hold up to tugging no problem - but seems like it may be more susceptible to fraying than a more tightly woven, thicker leash. I also don't love that the clip is pretty small. I'm used to clips that are a bit more robust - heavier and larger. On the plus side, the thin material and the small clip make for a lighter leash. The neoprene padding on both handles is comfortable to hold. The stitching that connects the top of the lower handle to the leash is very scratchy on the outside of the handle; the way I usually hold the leash (with one finger outside of the loop) is uncomfortable as a result. I'm not sure why this is; none of the other stitching on the leash seems to be made from the same thread, so it's pretty unfortunate that the one stitched spot people are more likely to contact is the rough spot. My favorite thing about the leash is the ring at the main handle, so that my poop bag container doesn't slide around the handle. I also like that the leash is reflective on both sides. Overall it seems like a decent leash with a few annoying flaws.

I ordered a couple different two handled leashes before landing on this one. For my small dog (8 pounds) this worked the best since the short handle is slightly longer than the majority of others. They are made more for taller dogs, but this leash keeps my dog in the perfect heel position without me straining to reach the handle or her front feet lifting off the ground. Overall, the leash feels well made and the padding is comfortable but not bulky.

Was sent an item which was inaccurate web description. I thought I was receiving a Prima dog leash but instead I received something bought from China! The package I received for the dog leashes came in 2 different packages. The black one was flimsy and not of good quality. And definitely not Prima as promised! Buyers beware!

I actually really love this leash! I adopted a pitbull back in February and I was having the hardest time finding a leash that didn't tear up my hands when he had his episodes on walks (mainly when he saw other dogs). I walk him twice daily, once in the morning after I wake up (ranges from 30 min-1 hour) and once after I get home from work (40 min-1.5 hours) which makes for quite a few episodes and even more blisters and peeling skin. I bought this leash hoping the padding would make it so I wouldn't have to resort to gloves while we work on his training and it's absolutely phenomenal.I have these leashes that are awesome but they're incredibly old (10-15 years!) and completely tore up my hands when he started pulling too hard. The reason I love my old leashes is because they're 4 ft, which I always felt is the perfect length, they aren't too thick, and they're soft enough to wrap around my hand and up my wrist if I need to cut off his leeway in either dangerous or uncomfortable situations. This leash meets all the criteria, although it is a little difficult to wrap it around your hand with items attached to the d-ring, which is where the traffic handle makes up for it. He hasn't had his extreme episodes since I bought this leash, but I think it's also helped a bit with his pulling since I can use the traffic handle to keep him at my side when he gets too difficult.The little clip on the leash is also such a clever design that I adore. I keep his potty bags clipped on for daily use and attach his collapsible bowl for our longer, hotter walks in the mornings. I know a lot of comments say it, but I really do wish more leashes had the little d-ring like this one does.Overall, this leash is quickly becoming my favorite. I'll continue using it throughout his training and hopefully it far exceeds that time frame, or else I'll have to buy another one!Attached are a few pictures of the leash and my adorable dog. Just what was needed.It has made walking our puppy easier and he is more controllable because of the two ‘handles’.

Good length lead for our terrier/terror. allows her some wandering room. I have the 180 cm length lead. I am 6 feet tall and the extra loop is at exactly the right length for close control.

This is a great dog lead. Excellent quality throughout. The padded handles are comfortable to hold and the extra "traffic" handle is a brilliant feature that I didn't even know I needed! I bought the medium and I use it with the Prima Pets reflective leash coupler to walk my two border terriers. Size and length are perfect for my needs.
