Why most complaints are not valid
Is this box sturdy? It is sturdy enough for a closet or car travel. If you need it for a plane or stagecoach you, and it, will be crushed. Is it overpriced? It's pricey for a cardboard box, but I don't see significantly cheaper hat boxes, so not really overpriced. Is it hard to assemble? (They do tell us it ships flat, we just don't read all the words and then complain about surprises.) It is hard using the printed instructions. They are imprecise and diagrams would be more useful than not great photos. BUT, setting aside that instructions offer a link to YouTube, the maker's website has a fine video that makes the process take about 5 minutes. Poor printed instructions are the one legit complaint, but there is a workaround. Sadly Amazon does not allow a reviewer to link to the maker's site.
