AprilAire 413 Replacement Filter for AprilAire Whole House Air Purifiers - MERV 13, Healthy Home Allergy, 16x25x4 Air Filter (Pack of 2)

I love this filter. Conway installed new HAVC system & told me i can get the same filter on Amazon 50% cheaper. Its still way too expensive for any filter. I still have dust all over everything. My home was built in 2003 for me and they say have your air ducts cleaned them some say do nit do that its a waste of money they also say when you get a new HVAC system it can cause dust to be worse. I hate the dust i wish there was a fix. I tried using little filters on my register's but they do not recommend that so i took them down. Did not notice much of a change. And you cannot use a return filter either !!I still like this filter. I wish they would put the black cross bars on the filter it would be more sturdy. I saw another 413 but different company and i want the best filter and i was told by conway to stay with this brand.These don’t last a full year but it does last 8-10 months. I have seen people in the comments saying 6 months. My Nest App is supposed to tell me when to change my filter but i have never seen it do that !!!!I have also read thru the reviews the 3* & 4* and they are having issues with different things. Im sticking with thus brand i think it probably cost $5-$10 to make so they are making a massive profit.

We've been using these filters since roughly 2016 when we added central air to our ~80 year old house. Although they're pretty pricey they work very well and only require replacement 2-3 times per year.Our house is old as I mentioned so it is *very* dusty. We also have 2 dogs, one of which has longer fur. These filters catch and retain a lot of the dust and hair but not all of course. I doubt any filter would do any better.

These filters work great in our home. Very easy to install, they fit perfectly in our furnace. We don't have dogs anymore but when we did, these filters helped a lot with the dust and dander our 2 german shepherd's would leave behind. Well worth the money in my opinion.

This is the filter that came with my furnace when it was initially installed so it can’t be compared to another brand or type. The heating and cooling company can provide these during their summer & winter system checks but it’s more economical to buy your own. In our furnace, they are easy to access and replace.

It;s in place and doing its job. A little more difficult to install, but nothing beyond the ordinary. The only oddity is the air flow arrow decal was misaligned, pointing lengthwise end-to-end, rather than laterally through the face of the filter. No worries, in that I know how filters are supposed to be mounted. ..Just found it odd!!Other than that, all seems to be just fine!

In my home I replace this filter about twice a year. I appreciate that the filter is easy to replace. Getting it properly hung on the top and bottom panels is a little tricky but once hooked correctly the filter just slides right into place. I have an old home with a dank basement, a dog and a cat. The accordian design of this filter makes it easy to dispose of with out gross debris poofing out all over the place. This filter works well for our home.

A 413 filter offers a higher level of filtering than a 410. This filter is easy to install. The price is extremely economical.
