Carl's Gourmet All Natural Old Western Barbecue Spice Seasoning and Meat Rub - 3.5 oz

very good stuff at a very expensive price on Amazon. You can pick up the larger size for about the same price being sold on Amazon $7, if you live in Northern California at a Raley's. I live overseas and don't get much of a choice on price. This stuff is the bomb if you like smoked whole chicken thighs. Peel back sink, season, cover thigh back with skin, and season other side, let seasoned meat sit in frig overnight. Smoke thighs at 250° F with heavy hickory smoke for approximately 2.5 hours in indirect heat. You will never taste better chicken! Experiment on how much of this rub to use for individual taste. I have tried many other rubs, but none come close to this one! Just wish it were being sold at a less expensive price.

Truly versatile. One of my favorite rubs ever. Great on any kind of meat but especially good on pork ribs.

I love Carl's Gourmet spices and use the regular roast rub all the time. I've added this one to my spice cabinet. Tastes delicious on chicken and pork! Even a little sprinkle on Tilapia tastes delicious. A nice addition to a variety of spice rubs!
