Gorgeous....but wait.......
Ladies..... may I say I found the perfect suit. I'm 5'11 and I wear a size 14. I ordered this suit in a 16. I put it on and looked like I wore a 12. I wear a 38DDD and yet there was no spillage whatsoever. Long legs, cinched waist and boobalicousness. Awesome. Then I turned around. Now admittedly, the navy blue is not as bad as the polka dot. The polka dot from behind looks ridiculous. With out a lining the white dots are see thru and grow larger since there's no fabric to keep it the same size as the dots in front. Weird. Talk about feeling so sexy and good, but I just can't walk around with an unlined back. Damn. As for the navy, I was so close and tempted to keep it because it is not so obvious that it doesn't have a lining, until wet. I ran a bath and sat down to be sure, and yeah, you can tell. There is a hollow.... empty... butt crack fabric situation going on, I'm having none of it.If you want to be a poolside bunny and have NO intention of getting your suit wet, you have a winner. I'm not even saying that in jest because there are some women who do the poolside, sunglasses, Kindle, margarita thing fabulously. If you're that woman you may not need a 100% functioning suit and if this suit was cheaper I would keep it for poolside bunny purposes. So this is the suit for you if your that woman.... but don't even think about sitting curbside pool and getting this suit wet unless you are prepared to cover your bum with a towel or cover up.If the manufacturer decides to not cut corners and make this suit with a back liner I would buy 3: Navy, polka dot and red. Seriously. I'm the type who doesn't admire other women's suits unless I can look at it and feel that its a great suit that can look great on a lot of other women. This suit would look great on long, luscious, small, athletic, you name it kind of women. Actually, it will make you look better. So please Mr. Manufacturer, "Fix the dang back! Because it's not fair to charge for a back lining when there isn't one."Update**** I stand by my product review but I must warn fellow bathing suit shopping beauties against this seller. I'm happy for everyone who had a fantastic shopping experience but mine has been the worst. I had initially given the seller a 1 for customer service but I took it down after she (Maren) promised a total refund, promised better customer service and cried, literally cried, about being a small business owner who was trying her best. I felt terrible. So I took the review down and she promised me a fully lined suit. Well NINE MONTHS LATER I'm sure Maren's tears are completely dry but I'm still without a fully lined black bathing suit. She hasn't even responded to my last email (I've sent only 3 in nine months because I didn't want to be a bother). So again, congratulations to all who had a great experience! But personally, I wouldn't buy from this seller again if the suits were fully lined with gold. I reported her to Amazon - she doesn't represent the quality service Amazon demonstrates. I wish everyone the best luck finding the suit of your dreams!

Great suit but it's not a fairy godmother
This suit has beautiful vintage appeal. The ruching on the sides is great, it helps conceal and cover lumps and bumps in the front of the suit. The back of the suit is another story....like seriously, the front and the back are like a great movie and then it's not so great sequel. The back of the suit would be acceptable to me if you are always standing in *front* of people, always sitting in a beach chair or don't mind walking backwards. The back of the suit is one layer and has none of the concealing qualities that the front of the suit has....if it had the same second layer of fabric and ruching then I would probably be keeping this suit, but I'm returning it. I'm a size 8, I'm 5'2" and in spite of my husband's loving insistence to the contrary I consider myself to be a thick around the middle. I bought a size 12 due to the reviews that the suit runs small, and I took my measurments and the 12 seemed to be the right size. I did not enjoy ordering a size 12, but it fit like a glove. (And in spite of how well the suit fit and felt, some of the poor little white polka dots on the back of the suit became sad stretched out ovals...I felt bad for them, they were obviously jealous of the perfect shaped polkas on the front of the suit, poor fellas). Like most women I am probably my absolute worst critic, but I read so many reviews about this suit, on multiple websites, and so many women were singing it's praises that I had basically convinced myself that THIS SUIT would be a miracle cure for years of trying on swimsuits and then promptly wanting to jump off the roof...I had convinced myself that I would slip into this suit and transport into a parallel universe where I look like Marilyn Monroe and feel amazing. I had planned to get the mail in this swimsuit, that's how good it was going to be. One woman even said that she put the suit on and wore it around the house for a while because she felt so incredible. I'm happy for that woman. I am not that woman. I put the suit on, I looked in the mirror and I wasn't horrified and therefore this automatically qualifies it to be a contender, however when I spun around to see my backside it was back to reality....the clock struck 12 and the swimsuit turned back into a pumpkin. Actually a pumpkin might have looked better in this suit because for whatever reason the red fabric with white polka dots made my rear look more square and more flat than I've ever noticed (I blame the oval polka dots...lol). I didn't realize what a flat dairy aire I have. It's starling. I started Cross fit the day after the suit arrived hoping to plump up this butt. So actually I don't hate this suit at all. It's given me the stark realization and the motivation to get moving again. So I'm giving this swimsuit 4 stars. 4 because it truly is a beautiful swimsuit and I believe on someone else's body it would make them look incredible, and it apparently has according to hundreds of reviews. As for me, it's a no, but I am glad I gave it a try.
