Bought two and was very satisfied so ordered two more, great night time illumination for our dock steps, and really a perfect nautical appearance, mounted on 4x4 posts. Great quality unit, not sure yet about the rechargeable battery service life.

I have used post cap solar lights for years. The first set lasted for years but the second set which were a different brand and never worked very well. I was constantly fixing them, replacing batteries etc. We have sort of a nautical front door path with posts and rope between the posts and these lights were perfect for that decor so I thought we would give them a try. They work so well that I will never buy another brand but GreenLighting as long as they are available. Thank you.

I really like the design of these lights. The only downside is the solar panel gets cloudy; I clean it with a magic eraser. I’m sure it would be better if I took them off and bagged them and stored them for the winter, as the do not take enough sunlight in the winter months to keep then lit more than an hour after dark during this time of year.

Love how these solar lights looks and when they work they’re great. Unfortunately, quite a few of them didn’t last very long and will have to purchase more so that all of our posts. Overall pleased but manufacturer needs to work on this problem.

Very low light but looks nice.

These are so cool. I mounted them low on our wooden deck where our swimming pool is to give the space a "boat dock" feel. They are NOT too bright, but plenty of light to light a foot path. Very cool.

Bought 4 of these about a year ago. I liked the design where they sit on top of a 4 x 4 deck post and and they have a sort of lantern-like look. Easy enough to install. But even when they were new - they worked OK but the light was very dim. Now the clear plastic that covers the photo cells look like they have cataracts - powdery white - I assume from simply being exposed to ... duh! sunlight! Obviously, I would not recommend them.

I really like these deck-post cap lights. I have tried other ones in the past but they tended to look cheap and didn't last long, either they would crack and break or they would deteriorate so much in appearance that I couldn't stand looking at them any more, and the lights themselves didn't have sufficient solar power to light up on the back deck in the winter. I bought a set of these ones a couple of years ago and they still work great and still look fantastic. So when I recently had an additional deck built to tie into the existing back deck, I bought another set of these. The older set has held up so well that you can barely tell the difference between the 2 year old set and the brand new set -- they both look fantastic! They provide lots of light, even during winter when we have so little sunlight. They are also so easy to install that anyone can do it. I am very happy with these and would certainly recommend them.

A good solar light as well as protection for the post. A very attractive product.

I bought these to replace identical ones I bought 10 years ago. Original ones still worked, but the batteries don't last. I have replaced the batteries with a higher capacity cell. Easily done as it's AA size. I will add them to other locations in my yard. They give the yard a nice glow equivalent to a full moon lighting the yard.

Great solar lights. We put one every fence post, about 8' apart, on 8 posts. Almost too bright with them all on. Great units. Lots of light. Pretty much maintenance free. Pricey, but worth all the pennies.
