Product was the perfect solution to my problem. I had to replace an aging HVAC system that produced an awful howling whistling humming noise. HVAC company seemed either unwilling or inept with no real solution. This product fit like a glove and eliminated any noises. Whisper mode activated. Very effective and easy installed. Highly recommend this product.

The return vent I had made a loud whistling sound because of the angle of the slats. It drove everyone crazy because it was so noisy. The egg crate design is genius! So much more air gets through. The level of noise reduction is astonishing. This is easily the best investment I’ve made since moving into a new home. Superior quality and easy installation.

We have a two stage furnace and the loud hum the system made on high sounded like the fan bearings were failing. What a delight to discover it was just vibration from the cheap louvered return vents! Our HVAC has two returns and I started by replacing the vent closest to the furnace which was the noisiest. It worked so well I decided to replace the second return vent since it still made a slight noise. The system is now as quiet as it was when it was brand new.

The quality is poor, the edge was bent and sharp and many of the grill cells were bent. Expensive, poor quality.

This return air grille appears to allow more air into the system and is lightweight aluminum and of good build quality but it did not fit my return air space despite taking meticulous measurements of the open space (not the existing grille vent). The 10x24 inch was 2" too short on the height. It also did nothing to reduce noise and is not quieter than the old grille vent (both measured about 70db with a sound meter when the blower was operating at 100%. Also, no hardware (mounting screws) was included in the package.
