Simplicity Across Multiple Devices.
Reasonably nice wifi bulbs that work well with Alexa....don't have Google Home...so cannot advise on that. Will say, for the price point, these bulbs are very good, and I rather like having all the same brand...much more easily manged via the app. However....the instructions provided with the product refer you to the wrong app. Best advice....pull up the manufacturers website and follow their install instructions.I started with Kasa TP bulbs, and am still using those for two specif applications in my house, will eventually replace with Magic Light product, so everything is controlled by one app....and Alexa...of course.Driving home the other night, I pulled up the app on my (android) mobile and turned on various lamps so my house was ready & waiting for me.....it worked perfectly. But, that also causes me a pauseof concern for just how my mobile provider signal works retroactively via my (fairly) secure wifi network....Otherwise, as stated, the price point here for a bulb that works for normal lighting, and allows for color variations (red, blue, green....RBG) and most variables btetween them is very nice......So this fall I can set my lighting for the trick-or-treaters...and go back to standard lighting just as easily. My Kasa bulbs won't do that....and they are twice the cost.Give these a shot, but I recommend you go for the 60W equivalents and bypass the 40W versions...for a bit more lighting power. The cost delta is minimal. Finally, I grouped all my Magic Lights ...so I can turn everything on ...with one command....nice when you need all lights on in the wee hours of the night...'cuz you never know when that will be useful.....try that by flicking every light switch...manually.These lights work.....on voice command.....very nicely. As for Alexa...she gets a bit pushy on naming...so be wise with your options and keep it simple.

Shockingly good
FINALLY. Bulbs that work with Dual banded wifi. More than worth the price. Immediate set up for 4 lights in less than 20min including downloading the app to use them.

Good bulbs, Bluetooth not so great
I got 8 of these bulbs. Wi-Fi config takes some time, but then they work pretty well.Setting up scenes etc is quite easy.Decent level of customization.Pretty good brightness.Overall I’m happy with them, I wish the Bluetooth connectivity worked better. It’s nice to have the option, but it’s very slow and somehow there are less settings options. So it’s kind of unusable.I do have a pair of Philips Hue and the Bluetooth works insanely good. But they cost 5 times more.So if you don’t care about Bluetooth or giving up your Wi-Fi info to a third party, then it’s definitely a no brain purchase.

Great variety in light colors, easy set up and protected connection options
I was skeptical at first trying these. However after buying my first 3 pack and seeing how easy they were to install and use with an app I ended up coming back to buy more. You need to assign a skill to Siri for Apple. But that is fairly easy to do. And, there are a few steps to set up that take about 15 minutes to do. But they work well. Timers and groups can be set up so that you don’t have to come home to a dark house or walk into a dark space to unload your car. Bonus points for adding safety and decreasing chances for injury as the snow and ice season will soon be here! I researched many and found chose these because they would link to a locked source and not allow access to personal information like some of them did. You will be locking in to your own protected WiFi source and not leaving an open trail through smart hime devices like some of these manufacturers allow. So honestly, after researching these factors I thought these were the best. Nice to be able to set to a variety of colored lights or warm or true white light with these. Nice to have one kind of light where I sit and read, and another kind of light where I can chill and watch tv. These is also a sunset and sunrise feature in here too. I didn’t use that since I would fall back to sleep in the morning if given the choice to wake up slowly with increased light. But if that is your thing, you can do that with these too. Great bulbs, easy directions, simple set up and offers a protected source of connection. Give these a try. I think you will be happy with your purchase!

Even my dog is annoyed
The first setup took longer than I was expecting and had to be redone on one of the bulbs. Once I figured it out they were great. Quick response with app. Bright white light to soft warm light. All of the colors. I was so happy I thought I would buy more. Setting up the timer was so easy. I was hoping having a light come on in the morning would help with my early wake ups. And it worked… for less than a week. I didn’t worry too much about it and thought I would look into when I had a second. Then I found that when I would come home a lunch to let my dogs out the lights would be on. After a few days of coming home to this (not consecutive days but randomly over a couple weeks) I just turned them off. I tried to figure out the issue but no luck. They won’t reconnect even after following all of the directions. I thought, no big deal, it will still work as a lightbulb. Nope. Wrong again. Apparently, if they are not connected they switch back and forth from cool light to warm light every minute. Would send them back but I’m just outside the return window. Convenient. So now I have two useless lightbulbs and my dogs are annoyed that the lights have been flashing and switching around for half an hour while they were trying to get to sleep. And now I get to listen to the incessant licking of a passive-aggressive English Setter. Great night. Don’t bother… just don’t. I guess on a positive note: they weren’t expensive. Which is great since I’m stuck with them. Maybe that should have been my first hint that something would soon go wrong.

Temporary use
Good product but for temporary usage. Easy to use, they don’t last long, my first bulb went out within the first month. They flicker , as if it’s a shortage.
