How big of a flat screen can it fit?

The furniture is heavy and solid enough to easily support an 82" TV. I have a 75" flat screen on mine. The determining factor may be the depth of the TV's legs. The furniture is 13.5" deep and legs of larger flat screens (75" or larger) are often 14" deep or more - that's the dimension you need to check.

Can it be mounted to the wall?

The back of this piece is glorified cardboard so it really can't be used to mount it to the wall. If you don't have baseboard moulding you could probably secure it to the wall by using metal "L" brackets but you would then be dependent on the press board to hold it. Its a nice piece and everyone loves the look !!!    Hope this helps.

Question 3

Hi, i would like to raise it about 4” of the floor on screwed legs. how thick mdf is and what is the distance between lower bottom plate and floor?

The TV stand is very sturdy, heavy, and rigid... but I don't know if it's designed to accept legs nor how many legs would be necessary. The MDF on the bottom is about ½ inch thick. If you only want more height, you might be better off constructing a 6 foot wide × 12 inch deep × 4 inch high box (frame), paint it black, and center the whole unit on top of that - so the weight would be better distributed. If you really want legs, you would need at least 6... eight would probably be better. For what it's worth, there are other fireplace/TV stands with legs. I specifically chose this because it does NOT have legs... being flush to the floor helps add to the illusion of being a "real" fireplace. Good luck with your effort.

Question 4

What is on the back and side panels that surround the fire? One buyer mentioned something about texture that made it look fake. Is it faux brick?

The image of the flickering flames is projected on a flat black (not glossy black) background - the flat black extends to either side and behind the flames. There is no firebrick texture. In appearance, it reminds me of the cast iron firebox typically found in many real fireplaces. On close inspection, it's obvious that this is not a real fireplace... but when it's viewed (or photographed) merely as one element within the context of an entire room, it creates the ambiance of a lovely fireplace. At best, it might be seen as a gas fireplace (you can chose red flames or blue flames) with the chunky glass briquettes in the foreground. Obviously, a real wood-burning fireplace would typically have some logs nearby.
