Replaced my bathroom light. Looks great

Possibly not the most common place for this fixture, but I placed this one in the garage. Needed to improve light availability in this corner. Installed the fixture at a 90-degree angle from the norm so that in addition to light coming from the fixture itself, additional light is directed out the ends, which in this case means a white ceiling for additional light and on a workbench. The power outlet feeds a shop light in another part of the garage. Works great!

It wasn’t compatible with my system but I took the top off and put on my old light. I gave my bathroom a little upgrade. A LITTLE!!!

Our house was built in 1984 - I was frankly shocked when I was browsing for a replacement (the original one was rusting in places) and saw this. Replaced the original perfectly, and easily fit in our budget.

The first fixture arrived with it's shade broken. I contacted the vendor, sent pictures and they sent me another one, packaged better (box in a box) and it arrived intact. It was a shipping and/or packaging issue not a product quality one.The light is functional and bright. I used CFL's in mine. It replaced an old chrome fluorescent that had a missing shade and the T12 tubes it uses are expensive and may disappear over time. I would have replaced it years ago but needed a fixture with an outlet and didn't think they still made them with today's GFI requirements that were not in place years ago. The quality is good for the price. I had to bend the shade/socket brackets a bit by hand to make the shade hang straight. The base will bend in when you tighten the attaching nut. I used another hex nut on the threaded rod under the base to prevent this. The side of the shade is not covered as my old light was and the bright light hits you in the eyes as you walk in the bathroom. I will make a translucent side shade from plastic to fix this. For now, I cut apiece of the packaging styrofoam, placed it in the side of the shade and it stopped the glare. This won't be a problem on all bathroom configurations so I don't feel it is a fault with the fixture.

Simple bathroom light fixture installed above medicine cabinet. Easy to install.

Works as it should. Made a little cheaper than expected for the price. Received product first time with broken glass. Received replacement in 4 days. Only reason I went with this fixture is I live in an old house with no receptacles in the bathroom and this was the only one I could find.

I was looking for a bathroom light fixture with a built in outlet and stumbled across this one. It has a nice modern look, holds two light bulbs (up to 75 watt) and works well. I removed one star from my review because once installed, the built in outlet (15amp) is right up against the wall so some plugs (that are too wide/thick) don't fit, like my shaver charger plug, I've solved this problem by purchasing a 3 ft extension cord, I can plug the extension cord into the outlet then plug my shaver into the extension cord.

This retro light fixture adds another much needed electrical outlet to the bathroom — yippee!!
