I was looking for a bookshelf that I thought would fit my need. I have a small condo with only a limited amount of space and need to use it efficiently, so I was looking for a bookshelf that I thought could help manage general floorspace and hold a large number of stuff in the mis-matched shelves and bookshelves around my house. I opted to buy two despite previous reviews about "quality" because, as you can see in the picture, I had an image of what I wanted.Doesn't disappoint. It took me ~5 hours to build both bookshelves including bringing them into the house, unpacking, and tossing the garbage. I was able to do this alone pretty easily, and the bookshelves are secured via both glued-pegs and wood screws. The two bookshelves don't line up perfectly next to each other, but anything wooden is not going to be perfectly symmetrical when you get two of them. As you can see, the shelf meets my needs for both height, general width, and usability. The two bookshelves allowed me to empty out my three old bookshelves and save a considerable amount of space, which I can still make more efficient if I need to.Considerations: When you open the box, make sure to pull out the instructions. In my first box I completely missed them because the book is pretty thin, so I accidentally tossed it. User error. In addition, make sure to have paper towels on hand in case you add too much glue to the pegs so you can immediately clear it off the shelf itself. The glass is full tempered glass so it will be heavier than you anticipate, but in my opinion it adds to the stability of the shelf. I've tried wiggling them and they don't move.Overall - Highly pleased with my purchase. If I need another bookshelf or expanded storage, I will be buying a third to continue the bookshelf-wall that I'm starting to make. :)

Super easy to assembly. The instuctions are really simple and you will get it done in a few minutes.Also it took only a few days to arrive.Excellent service and quality.

The media could not be loaded.  I relied on the reviews. So I bought it , it’s a heavy package when it arrives I dragged it I’m a woman slim 140lbs. So I was going to wait for boyfriend to help but I decided to go ahead and try to assemble it my self as reviews said it was easy. Well...... YES it was took some reading. And arranging the parts. But yes 30-35m and it was done. I love it! Reccomend it highly. Is 90% sturdy it a beautiful. Is not all that glossy I love it ! I posted some pictures. Hope it helps some one out there !

Once assembled this is a very LARGE and impressive piece. However it damages very easily. A piece arrive damaged and the manufacturer responded very quickly to my call and email & promised to send a replacement but never did. I just put the damaged side towards the wall and you can't see it. I'd you push too hard, the corners might buckle when assembling so don't force it.

Well packaged, everything arrived intact, no scratches, no broken glass. Easy assembly and surprisingly sturdy. Thought it might have some wobble because of glass, but none whatsoever. Very satisfied.

The design is great. You can make the "snake" shape face either direction. It is indeed very sturdy, more so than I expected - I have a lot of heavy books, a printer, etc. on mine, and have no reason to suspect it is going to break. It doesn't wobble even though it's on a thick carpet. It looks very nice and while undoubtedly modern, is possible to mix with other interior styles - I put mine in a study that has a wood desk with black metal, a black chair, and various wood items plus non-modern objects/artifacts/art around the room. In other words, depending on your goals, I think this piece's design is more versatile than it seems. I removed two stars because the packaging was insufficient to protect the piece fully. The glass was fine and in general seems strong, but most of the black pieces had at least one corner that was damaged. If your need a piece that is "perfect" and can self-assemble well, this piece is still not ideal. If the look of minor wear and tear upon inspection is less important for you than the overall look/function, then this piece might work for you. To give a more specific example - I am in my late 20s and this is perfect for my apartment. It's unlikely anybody else will ever notice the damage, although I am annoyed with it. My mom likes it's appearance, but wouldn't put something in this condition in her house that also has some very nice furniture, even if it matched perfectly. If you can't risk there being some damage to the corners, take the weight into consideration. The package itself was VERY heavy. I am not at all strong, so I had to bring it inside by lying it on it's side and then taking out the pieces. I was able to assemble the bookshelf by myself, but re-packaging it and returning it would be difficult/impossible for me to do without help. All of this said, I ordered a second one because I needed an identical second bookshelf for the room I put this in. It shipped quickly for non-Prime. If the condition is not equivalent to my first purchase (for better or worse), I will update this review. Finally, assembly was easy but did take time. So, if you don't want to purchase something that you can't assemble in 30min or less, I'd consider other options. If you don't mind putting in a reasonable amount of time for assembly of a sturdy product, then I wouldn't consider assembly time to be an important factor in your decision.
