Rubber Backed Area Rug, 39 X 58 inch (fits for 3x5 Area), Brown Floral, Non Slip, Kitchen Rugs and Mats

I was looking for an area rug for my open kitchen. I have some parquet damage from chairs, so for now, I wanted to cover the patch, rather than argue with it every morning. Don't you hade it when things don't last!Anyway, I was looking for a rug that is not "fuzzy" (not sure what the proper term is) and also had a non-slip backing. I actually went through two rugs from Kohls, but neither lasted and required constant vacuuming... This one seems to be of a much better quality (tighter weave) and somehow does not require as much cleaning (call me crazy). I have a very busy schedule and don't live with a broom or a vac in my hand, so this is definitely a winner for me!By the way, I also have a cat, with claws... and this rug seems to stand up for itself and not fall apart immediately, as the other ones did. No damage yet (2 weeks), Love it!Follow up 3 mos later: Aside from the fact that I have a cat, that occasionally tests the rug, I also have the rug in the kitchen, where occasionally, during food prep, things drop... things like beats! I thought that beats would ruin the rug. However, with a wet paper towel, after 2 days, the stain came out completely! Love the product, unlike some other similar type rugs, this seem to be a very durable product. I will stick to this brand, Maxy Home.

Nice rug! We just recieved it and pleased. It is thin but we expected that. We bought a 5x7 for our hearth room and kitchen table. It was easy to lay and no curls at the end as well as it stays in place and the colors are nice. Posted pics hopes that helps. Looks good with very dark cherry wood.

Everything about this rug was perfection for what we needed and the style and design of it. The size is right for the entrance area which is wood-look tile and is near the kitchen with lots of gray tones in the granite countertops. The cabinetry is a light, golden maple with ivory wall paint. Nothing could've been more perfect if I had designed it myself. We were using an oversized towel in front of the door because I just wasn't finding The One. I see the instruction sheet says no machine washing or machine drying. Spot clean only, hand wash or professional cleaning. We plan to roll it up and store it during the dry months of the year. Yes, this rug is thin, but the bottom of the door has to pass over it. It's thin but substantial and well edged and non-slip on the tile. Thrilled to have found this exact design in a sea of Moroccan trellis styles out there (yawn). I thought about the chocolate choice as our hallway walls are a pretty green, but I also don't want to be a slave to rug cleaning and we board small dogs in our home and don't want to take a chance on accidents. Rugs just add so much to a look, it's so tempting to get that one too as the hallway is roomy.

Could have been pretty, but it showed up seriously damaged. Huge unraveled hole right in the middle! I can't believe they don't pay attention to that when they are rolling it up. There should be some kind of inspection.... right? Seriously disappointed!

I bought two different rugs for my kitchen. I couldn’t get the corner down no matter what I used. Big waste of money. One now sets under my husband’s car in the garage. I wasn’t sure on buying big this one trying this. The rubber backing dos not slip curl dont come up.at corners. Great looking. I am getting a bigger size to go it’s this one. Looks like a more expensive rug. I would recommend this to any one. Great rug for the money.

This rug is well made (for an inexpensive runner) and exactly as advertised. The design is attractive, the profile is thin--just what I need for the situation--and the backing is a nice non-slip rubber. Let me add that the seller is very responsive and cordial: Before I settled on this purchase, at my request, s/he was kind enough to send me small swatches from two different rugs, so I could decide which one to buy. The samples came quickly and made my decision easy. The order came quickly too, and the rug looks great where it's sitting... (and since it seems durable) for many years to come.

I purchased three of these rugs to place in our long hallway where all the bedrooms are located. We have dogs and I wanted something to silence the tapping of dog feet in the early morning hours, not to mention the hardwood floors are cold on the feet. They cover great and do not slide at all, even with dogs running on them. The vacuum cleaner runs easily over them and the corners do not get sucked up into the vacuum like most thinner rugs do. I would definitely buy these again, very happy!

Dropped one star because the rug I received is similar to the one pictured, but slightly different with a broader / flatter leaf. The floral that I received has "dusky aqua" accents rather than green, the gold and green being the primary connections to my decor. Other than that, it's a very nice no-skid rug. I live in a high rise on the 23rd floor, so I don't need a "heavy duty" entry rug -- just something to park damp shoes on. This will work well. My order was for the 20" x 59" rug ... there's another option for 39" (3'3") x 60". I would love a 30" x 59" option as the better fit for my entry. I am ordering this rug again to have a spare and to spread out the wear and tear.
