Cheap, ugly holster. But it'll do the job.
There are definitely much more quality holsters out there. But for the price it does its job. I really just wanted a cheap holster to fit my S&W Model 10 for when it's in my safe or nightstand. So for my purposes, this was perfect. If I were planning to carry it on a regular basis I'd definitely look into higher quality options. But don't get me wrong, this holster can do the job if you are on a budget. Retention is sufficient. Trigger is well covered.I just got it so I can't speak to how well it will hold up over time. I will say mine arrived with a couple loose stitches but for my purposes I don't envision it being a problem and it's definitely not a big enough deal to warrant a return. It's definitely not winning any beauty contests but it's a sub-$20 holster. As long as you keep your expectations in line with the price tag I think you'll be happy with your purchase.

Model 10 and gp100 will not pull out of holster, hangs up very bad if on your side.
Please read all for I have changed my mind.Well made and soft, Looks great. Lightweight, I have a model 10 and a gp100 and neither on when you thump off the strap can you remove from the holster, They both hang up so bad you have to slide the holster in front on you like under your belly before the piece will come out. I should have gone with leather. It is a nice made product yet looks like more for storage or to protect moving it allot in and out of vehicles but no good at all for carrying on your side. I will try to modify it so can carry sideways on my belt of maybe sew on a chest strap. SSG.Bo.Retired.OK. Hot glued in a small piece of leather over the webbing at the top inside of the holster that the hammer keeps snagging on and this was the fix. Works Great.

A functional and inexpensive holster
This holster is super-light, works well, is made of quality materials and is very reasonably priced. The only issue I have with it is that re-engaging the snap on re-holstering is a bit tricky with one hand when compared with other snap adjustments that I have used on leather holsters. Since the nylon material itself offers no resistance, closing the snap takes a bit more effort but it is not a dealbreaker.

Good holster for price
Good holster for price. I had to modify the holster's top inside part a little because the rear sights on my Taurus model 66 kept snagging on a seem which made my revolver hard to draw quickly. Other than that its a good holster for when I'm out in the woods camping & hiking.

Perfect for MY use
I purchased this holster to protect my pistol I use for home protection. It completely covers the gun to prevent scratches or dirt which it is excellent at, BUT BUT BUT! this is not a wearable holster in my opinion it would take way to long to remove gun in emergency. For protection for the gun at a great price it can't be beat.

Great quality made cheap holster
I bought this holster for my brother for a Christmas present. He has a K-frame S&W Model 12 .38 Special revolver. The Model 12 isn't listed as a gun that fits in this holster, I think that's because S&W doesn't make them anymore. It fits perfectly. I like how it has the clip as well as a place to run your belt through it. The clip would work okay, if that's all you had, but you should really use a belt if possible. When drawing the gun out of the holster, the holster can move upwards a little with the gun if you are only using the clip. It's usable but would definitely slow down your draw. This is a non-issue, though, when using a belt. This holster is ambidextrous just as advertised and is easily converted from right-handed to left-handed. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and even bought one like this but one size larger for my S&W 686p.

Stay away from it.
This holster turned out to be a bad investment. It may be okay for the very short term at best.
