Lamy Safari Fountain Pen (19F) White + 5 Black Ink Cartridges

I am a mont blanc lover, but about a year ago I took a job where I don't have an office but a cubicle. The fear of someone taking my mont blanc pens by accident made me star to think about getting this pen. It is nothing like the Mont Blancs, but for the price is an excellent pen. Very light, smooth, and love the fact that I can use a converter and use my very much loved Mont Blanc ink! Although, not needed since the ink of the refills is excellent. If you don't want to spend too much money on a fountain pen, do me a favor and get this pen.

Lamy as a brand has never disappointed me, and this came fast and in GREAT condition! Exactly what I ordered and expected.

I bought this as my first FP. I really like it but I didn't receive a box with it. It came with the extra ink but I thought I could have been fake maybe. All in all great pen to write with.

Too large to hold. I am average height. The nib is large and somewhat unwieldy. Medium nib is too thick for my taste.

I don't normally review products, but this one I would definitely recommed! Not only does it look wonderful (I would 100% recommend the white), it writes beautifully! My first pen was a Safari, and when I lost it I decided I had to have another. This one if even better (if that's possible) than the first and once again lamy blew me away. The packaging was a little shady, but it was in new condition. Definitely would recommend at the great price!

The pen is easy to write with and the grip is shaped so you hold the pen correctly. I like it so much I bought 2 and looking at getting the pencil. The fine nib is more like a medium so I swapped for an extra fine for everyday use now its perfect.

Wow. What an amazing pen. I can't imagine writing with anything else than a fountain pen anymore, and it feels as solid as stainless steel. I might recommend a different color however because if ink bleeds of gets on your finger and rubs off on the pen, which happens to me often, it is very hard to get off. unfortunate since it's so beautiful, but regardless I would get red or something darker like black.

I have a small-moderate collection of various fountain pens and this LAMY pen is by far the worse, most useless pen I have ever purchased. It does not and will not, no matter what I do, it simply WILL NOT WRITE!! I even contacted their customer service department, which was not only a big mistake -- no help or assistance other than to tell me I could send the pen to their factory, AT MY EXPENSE, to see if they could fix it.Save Your Money!!!

I use this fountain pen on a daily basis to write at school. After about 1 year of writing, the pen still looks good, I have never had any leaks and it writes whitout scratching the paper. I do recommend getting the refilable cartrages if you are planning on writing every day because I go through 1 cartrage per day.

Love these pens. I use them mainly for drawing. I try the cartouche ink but it is not so useful for me as the ink is not waterproof. I've bought convertor for my other pens and use pigmented waterproof fount ink. Also Creoly is also a very reliable seller.
