ASURION 3 Year Housewares Protection Plan ($40 - $49.99)

Claims were easy to handle and service was quick. They refunded the amount the item cost so I could repurchase. I am very happy I purchased protection plans on my portable AC unit and my dehumidifier.

You see those protection/warranty offers and think should I? Yes, take it from me, purchase these whenever I see them offered, as I don't relish paying full price on a replacement item if something unfortunately happens to them in the near future. The protection plans have more than paid for themselves, had a few items that I unfortunately had to replace due to accident, malfunction, and spills, but with the protection plan had peace of mind and a hassle free claim process. Ten stars.

I’d give them 10 stars if I could! I had a fan that stopped working that was under warranty. They paid the claim 1 hour after I filed ..! Great service.

I purchased a room dehumidifier, and it quit working after about 20 months. I liked it and it worked well while it lasted so I bought another one, but this time I bought the ASURION 3 Year Protection Plan. As it turned out the replacement just barely outlasted it's MFG warranty. Seemed like they went downhill.I contacted Asurion and they immediately emailed me a full refund for the device as an Amazon gift card. This time I decided to go with a different brand, and I purchased the Asurion Warranty for it. The Refund for the 1st one almost paid for both, my net cost was $1.99 which I thought was a good deal. A little over a year of service form the old one for around 2 bucks. Not bad.

Manufacture warranty is a lot of hassles to be claimed, but not Asurion.

Good protection plan

I bought this protection plan for a dehumidifier that broke within a year and Asurion promptly and easily issued me a gift card for the original price. I will definitely purchase again for my electronics!

Website has not worked for 2-3 days, each continuing page in process of filing a claim has issues. Finally after multiple times I got to the date of the problem page, and no luck at all there. No human response to chat or phone number. The one human that answered the phone, apologized and asked me to call back later. They are having some issues that makes me worry about the security of the site. And I''ve lost my claim because they can't read a request for assistance with a claim and instead canceled my warranty.
