Classy, sturdy, and easy to install. Ordered the Umbra Capps 1-1/4 doubl rod for our dining room picture window. Installed in minutes and strong enough to hold 6 panel curtains (4 velvet and 2 sheer). Also, all of the panel curtains are grommets and fit on the front and rear rods with enough clearance and easy movement. I will order again for another window. The item doesn't come with directions other than basic install images, but this wasn't a problem for us-- it could make install a bit more challenging for the novice, but I don't think that's worth deterring the purchase as they are great rods.

the instructions are minimal, but if you have every installed curtain rods before, it is easy enough. All the hardware is included, even the toggles if you need them for installing into drywall. These are sturdy and yet modern looking. The window is just over 72 inches so we didn't need the extender. I am not for sure why it is there. Other reviews give more details about this peculiar feature & not being stumped by its inclusion. We just installed them today, so can't say much about their longevity, but they look really good. Pls. note that the bigger rod has no choice but to be placed furthest away from the window (and thus best for the heaviest curtain). But the smaller rod- that must go to the inside (closest to the window) --is not fragile, it can pull its weight beyond a light sheer for sure. I recommend them!

The rods and brackets are nice but mounting plates for brackets are made out of a cheep metal. Once it is dropped on the floor, it broke. This plate should be made out of better material as this is the part holding brackets.

I bought this rod because I have a 104" window frame with a door to one side, I needed a rod that was strong enough to extend the entire length without a center bracket to make curtains work. I tried less expensive rods that did not work because they were too thin. Another rod set I found appeared questionable in quality, so I spent the extra money for this and I am very pleased. I don't have any dip in the middle even on the back rod and the rod is very attractive and well made. I must admit installation was a bit of a task (I also made a really silly mistake that I am embarrassed to write) but, the end result is worth it.

I love the style of these brackets. The fact that the hardware covers the screws offers a clean, sleek look. They look very modern and high end. However, with a bracket that stretches over to 144 inches, it needs more than just one middle support bracket. I reached out to the company via email to request additional brackets with no response which was very disappointing. I bought two sets of these brackets for my living/dining room. I am please so far but I hesitate to hang the sheers on the second rod due to the weight and lack of support brackets.I want to update my review. After the above was posted, I did get a response from the seller. They promised to mail two additional brackets to support the curtain rod and I received them yesterday. I'm anxious to get this project completed. Thank you to the seller for listening to my request.

We like the sturdiness of those rods. Bought several of them and we contacted the customer service in order to buy more brackets and the corner connection. Unfortunately they are not available. We notice that the diameter (1,5'') is a little bit larger than usual 1'', not easy to find the accessories we need. For the same reason you need to be careful placing the standard curtains sheer on the rod. Anyway, the final result looks essential and stylish. Happy for the purchase.

So I really love Umbra products and these are no exception except for one tiny detail.Let’s start with the pros: it looks beautiful, the finish is really nice, they are very sturdy especially for two sets of curtains and well designed. The brackets are nice and easy to install. The finish is a beautiful brushed metal. The detail knobs at each end screw on and off completely.Cons: they scratch fairly easily so be gentle when installing them and try not to rub them against each other or other metal objects because they will scratch. The measurements are a bit misleading... I had to cut mine in order to fit even though I went by the adversitised measurements.Overall love them, but they should really explained that the size they say is not the minimum size when put together.I hope this has helped you, if it has please give me a helpful like 😁

I was beyond pleased with this. It is heavy-duty and the mounting brackets were the simplest ones I have ever installed. I love that there is a separate mounting plate which you mount to the wall first, then slide the bracket onto. This alleviates the common issue of trying to maneuver a screwdriver around the brackets to get to the holes and screws. The look is clean, crisp and modern.
