I've pretty much given up on high-tech cold weather gear as it never seems to last more than a season. I have an old Filson packer coat that has lasted 12 years of life outside in the Sierra Nevada crest. I wanted something lighter and less noticable.The shipping got screwed up but I don't blame the company as it was the local delivery company that had the problem. I finally got my jacket and I've been outside snow blowing and shoveling for a couple of hours. It fits well, moves easily, and works great. I would definitely agree to size up one level. The jacket fits me well but I'm shaped a little like an ape with short arms and a fireplug torso.

This jacket was made in England, of very durable waxed cotton. Heavy duty zipper. Knit cuffs set back into the sleeves. Hood is detachable. Hand and cargo pockets outside and another pocket inside. Soft liner. Well constructed and great fit. I ordered one size larger than normal for USA, which worked perfectly. Made in England, I would expect this jacket to sell in a US retail store for $250. I was shocked to look this jacket over and see the quality. This is a lifetime garment with reasonable care.

Really liked the weight, fit, & finish. Anticipate many years of use. By comparison to the Walker & Hawkes Derby Tweed Shooting Hunting Country Jacket, the sleeves & body length are just a bit short! Also, wish this came with an an inside, upper zip pocket.

First I would like to thank the reviewers that helped me with this jacket order. An xl fits me perfectly but order xxl at times for more room. Reviewers mentioned to order 1-2 sizes up depending what is worn more often underneath. Ordered the xxxl and is exactly the fit I was looking for. Also, reviewers mentioned the olive green was more of a forest green and was hoping it leaned more towards the forest green which it did. Lastly placed order on Sat. from UK, shipped on Mon. arrived in Milwaukee on Tues. and received jacket on Wed. XL co. to deal with. It is a well made for a $50 jacket. Bob Britten

More than pleased with this purchase, I wear an xl in most cases and ordered a xxxl based upon the sizing chart. Fit is loose allowing for insulation layers underneath while still looking good with very little insulation layers. The build quality is top of the line and would be what I expect to see on jackets costing twice as much. I like this jacket so much I immediately ordered a waxed vest to wear under the jacket on those cold Chicago snow shoveling sessions.

Size as expected… too small for 6’2 280 lb chef!! Gave it to wife as a b-day gift.. she loves. GREAT jacket but I need a 5xl.

Bought this jacket to replace waxed trail coat I had outgrown after 25 years. Misunderstood the sizing chart so I wound up ordering one size too big (3X vs 2X). Actually worked out because I also ordered the Men's Wax Bodywarmer Waistcoat in 2X. Wear it under jacket, both fit well, especially on horseback. I really like the combination. Plan on buying another jacket in 2X for Fall weather wear. Great jacket for Fall desert quail hunting, too. The backward zipper was a little awkward at first; wasn't expecting that, but then the British drive on the wrong side of the road as well.

Awesome purchase if you’re going for the look a product like this offers. Definitely styled similar to more expensive brands and of similar quality

ottimo prodotto, e' quello che cercavo ad un prezzo eccellente, la taglia e' corretta forse leggermente corta di maniche ( ma questo e' un mio problema) una cosa a discapito, manca di una areazione, si suda non traspira, quindi per la pioggia e' perfetta ma dovrebbero fare dei fori sotto le ascelle per la traspirazione

Proprio quelli che cercavo, un tipico giubbotto in stile country british, il tessuto è impermeabile e tiene molto bene anche il vento, con al di sotto un buon maglione è possibile metterlo anche nelle giornate di freddo. Lo consiglio vivamente

Très satisfait, bonne coupe, étanche, chaud...très content de mon achat. Arrivé rapidement et emballage soigné. Attention, c'est du coton enduit : ne pas en attendre non plus d'être étache sous une pluie torrentielle prendant une heure, ce n'est pas une parka néoprène non plus.
