The was awesome at first. We've caught quite a few bass over 6 pounds this year with the largest being 10. I never felt like the net wasn't going to hold up to the weight. My only complaint is the where the handle meets the extender. Mine came apart after about 3 weeks of use. It appears to have been glue together. Now my net doesn't extend correctly. Basically you can just pull the handle away from the extender and it separates instead of being locked together. It would be a great product if they could work out the quality issues. I ready many reviews where others were complaining about similar issues with the handles breaking but thought they redesigned and had been resolved. I guess not.

I do a lot of fishing in the PNW in the lakes. I target, landlocked silvers, kokanee and trout. This is the perfect net for landing these fish especially since I can extend the net and grab them before the boat side freak out. This net is rock solid, for my boat use. The net size I bought wouldn't be the best for landing larger fish but hey, I can just buy the larger net attachment. very versatile, you will not be sad with this net! Tight Lines!

First off, the net I received was the blue kryptek version and not the standard red and black I expected. Not really an issue but the description just isn’t accurate. I bought this net as a replacement for one I had stolen out of my truck. I used the old net for several months and loved it; it easily handled speckled trout, flounder and redfish. That said, my old net was the PVC coated mesh and this is the rubber coated nylon. Do not waste your time buying this model; the netting is no gentler on fish or less likely to tangle than a standard nylon net. As soon as this arrived and I saw it I ordered a replacement PVC net for it.

Great landing net for boat or shore fishing! Floats if you lose it over the side. Being extendable makes it especially functional when fishing from a high bank or boat, plenty of reach. The pvc netting sheds hooks and doesn’t cut into fish. I bank fish on rocky shorelines and this net permits fish retrieval from water without ever touching the ground, to hook removal. This is especially beneficial regardless whether you’re keeping or releasing the fish. Durable and well made. If I were to lose it, I’d buy again without hesitation!

Not impressed with the design or quality of the net. I purchased the Ego S2 Large 19-Inch Deep Rubber Net on 4/1/2019. We got some 30+ inch snapper on the boat without issue. Then we got a 38 in cobia and the head went through the net taring three loops. In addition the handle binds all the time. You are constantly working on get it to slide out or retract. Just not impressed and will not recommend nor will I repurchase.

I purchased this last year after looking for a good landing net that would expand. This spring the control handle that expands the net comes loose and will not stay in place. Poor quality control and poor workmanship on this as it was not a cheap net $100 bucks. I will attempt to contact the company for a replacement. ??? I also had the net inside my garage and not left out in the weather all winter.

Very good quality net...and slidding system makes landing fish a breeze..the last and only net you will ever need..the thing ive experience is if dropped near the surf..the fine shell particle will stay inside between the slidding parts. And will scratch up the parts when sliding. Solution flush it real good before use over all excellent net

Loved it for the 4 trips it's been on since December. Broke today...got 6 months and 4 trips. A little disappointed to say the least at the price it costs. Sorry for a bad review but think it should still be going. Contacted the company after I wrote this review and they were great to work with and sent my another handle. Hopefully this one holds up much longer because I want to like this net.

This is a great net - I bought the medium size and will now buy a large one - Nicest extension mechanism on the market - so easy to use and extending the net is effortless

Great net for the large pike it was bought for, they can twist and turn like usual and they don't get the net all tangled. Bonus is that it does float as they say it does.

Had 3 fish dive through the net within first year, 8lb and bigger northern, however contacted the company and they have been excellent to deal with, length extension is great!
