JUNI TAISEN: ZODIAC WAR - Season One [Blu-ray]

I love these types of shows. And I mean the type that out a group of people , small or large group, in a battle to see who wins it all. Doesn’t have to be to the death but to the death gives it that much more thrill (don’t get it twisted, I know it’s a fictional show ONLY for levels of entertainment). Good pacing on the shows flow. Even from the first couple episodes it let’s gives you the unexpected. No spoilers intended. However, is season 1 the only season we’ll get? It’s kinda similar to bthooom!! Good show but didn’t get a season 2 to it. Is it the marketing scheme to force you to buy the mangas in order to see what’s next??!! Well, hoping there will be a second season soon. Most shows leave you waiting for 2nd season that’ll never come when they know good and well that it’s only fair to all that a show, any anime shoe should “at the least” get two (2) seasons.

Love this Anime it's amazing and well written

Every generation the chosen warriors of the Zodiac gather to do battle. Each has a goal and the prize is any wish they desire. However due to a past situation there are a few new rules. One, they cannot leave the city they are fighting in, and two there is a poison in their bodies that will kill off everyone in 24 hours. Each fighter has a story, and a past that they are up against. But who will win it all - the intelligent, yet pacifist Monkey, the wise Ram, the egotistical Boar, or the deranged Rabbit? Each chapter gets closer to an answer as the body count rises in this tournament of death.

Omg so good , very very funny .I just wish I could see all the different endings 😕.One of the best animes I seen in a long time .

Great arc and enjoyed it overall. Best pet the shipper had it to me earlier then expected which was a super bonus. Nothing wrong with disc or packaging what so ever. Cannot wait for the second season now!!!

タイトル『十二大戦』/ディスク2枚/全12話。一般的な国内プレイヤーで再生出来ます（再生環境/SONYの2015年～の最廉価プレイヤー『BDP-S1500』）。タイトルで日本語/英字幕《OFF》を選択すれば、後は普通に鑑賞出来ます。映像特典はUS版の声優さんのコメンタリー（？）、ノンクレジットOPとED、他のアニメトレイラー。個性豊かな異能者が十二人集まってバトルロワイヤルって作品です。バトルが《３》に対して、キャラ紹介が《７》ぐらいの比率で物語が展開して行くので、テンポが悪く感じる方も多いかもしれませんが、アラフォーおっさんぐらいになると、派手なバトルよりも（これはこれで大好きですが）、キャラの掘り下げに時間を割いてくれた方が物語が楽しめるので、個人的にはマイナスに感じていません。なお、とんでもない強キャラでも、あっさり串刺しになったり、頭潰されたりするので、「お気に入りのキャラが死ぬのは生理的に耐えられない!!」「歴戦の勇者なのに死に際があっけなさ過ぎて意味が分からん…」って方には受けない感じがあります。11話までが十二大戦のバトル本編。12話が十二大戦の優勝者が、大戦優勝者の特権である《一つだけ願い事を叶える》の願い事に関するエピローグ回。個人的には秀作レベルの作品と感じていますが、好みが若干別れそうなので、お勧め出来るかどうかは、配信などで一、二話鑑賞してからの方が良いでしょう。最近の北米版は、新盤（デジタル＆ブルーレイ）になると、一層お財布に優しくなるので有り難い限りです。
