Playlist: The Very Best Of Mr. Mister

I love the song Broken Wings, really enjoyed that.

Only 3 songs that I like. Wasn't expecting something fanstatic.

The 1980's were a sort of an abstract musical era, with musicians attempting new directions, often with frustrating results. As mediocre as the 1980's were musically, some songs rose to the top. Pre-mid 90's remastering breakthroughs were not available in that era, obviously. So, the music was so often experimental, and the actual production often being similarly experimental. This Playist production is well worth getting, for the improved sound alone.

This is one of my favorites. Had in on a cassette, till it wore out. Then the album which was borrowed and never returned.

This is another great budget collection from Sony Legacy including Mr. Mister's classic 80s hits, a few b-sides along with three from the recently released 4th studio album "Pull." Even though this album is missing a few hits ("Stand and Deliver, "Talk the Talk" and "I'll Let You Drive"), the added b-sides ("I Get Lost Sometimes" and "Run to Her") are great fan favorites. This is one of the few compilations to feature songs from "Pull" (tracks 12-14) which is my favorite studio album from them featuring a more experimental progressive sound which we kind of a got a hint of when "Go On..." was released in '87. Overall, this compilations features great songs and a fine remastering of the songs from the 80s pop/rock quartet. This is great for any Mr. Mister fan!

I actually bought thisJUSTfor theTWOsongs I liked... that got a lot of air-play when I was 40,and my girlfrind [of two years] was twenty.I'm 66, now. I still like "those" two songs the best, andhave forgotten how good the OTHER songs are. Thelead-singer is VERY talented... and I like the driving BASSon most of the group's songs.

there are two songs that I know (well remembered) and I did have their cassette tape back in the 80'sBroken wings and Kyrie, this CD has a lot of songs on it but this was all that I remembered.

名曲揃いのアルバムの一つ。その辺で歌われている曲とは全く別物､２､３ヶ月で忘れ去られてしまうような曲ではない。最初は聞きなれない歌と思う人もいるかもしれないが、mr.misterの曲は「聞く」ではなく「聴く」ことではないかと。外見では理解できない味の深い深い曲ばかり。敬遠される人もいるが､良さを知ったらヤミツキ。Kyrieは定番､他はSteve GeorgeのピアノとボーカルのRichard Pageの声が素敵にマッチするThe Boder､人生の重みを感じるLearning To Crawl､若々しく曲が冴え渡るLife Goes Onがオススメ。

メンバーの名前も知らないけど、昔好きなバンドでした。お手頃価格なのに全部、鳥肌もんです。カッコつけていないのにカッコいい！フォリナーと同じく、声がいい。男受けする魅力満載。これとフォリナーベストをこっそりと仕込んで　同世代の男の友人と都内をドライブしながら聞こう。１１曲目には参った。
