Good for food waste, I use 2 together to prevent leakage
New regulations require that you separate food waste and place only in a specific can for garbage company pickup. These work without leaking when I use 2 at a time in my in home collection can.

No problems thus far!
I got this to use in a composting toilet (when I install one someday) and to dump kitty poop into out of the kitty litter box. You can compost kitty litter (as long as you don’t use something environmentally toxic, like clay kitty litter, but instead something like wood shavings. I get my wood shavings kitty litter off Amazon, actually).I wanted an easy way to transport the used litter to the compost pile where the carrying device could just be added to the pile too. I’d been using used grocery sacks, but then I had to throw those in the trash, and that defeats the purpose of this all.So, I’ve been using these composting bags for several weeks now, and haven’t had any issues. No leaks, no holes…just a plastic-rubbery feeling bag to transport cat poop in. 😉 I haven’t tried stabbing it with something sharp to see how it would hold up, but that’s bc I don’t tend to stab my garbage bags with sharp objects if I can help it.Overall, I’m happy. When I run out of these, I’ll buy more.

An unfortunately subpar product
Compostable/biodegradable trash bags are something I want to use to help reduce my environmental footprint. I tried out this product and while it does fit the environmentally-friendly bill, it unfortunately as much less reliable at performing its function as a trash bag. I've had too many bags split open along the bottom, sometimes catastrophically (trash EVERYWHERE) without warning. I try not to overfill the bags but it doesn't even have to be overfilled to fall apart. If you are looking for really light-duty use, or don't have to carry the bags far to get them to their destination, these could serve your purpose well enough, but I'm thinking I'd rather look elsewhere.

These Work Great
Our state now requires that food waste to go in the green waste can. I bought these to line a small lidded trashcan in the kitchen for holding our food waste until it goes out to the green can. They are very thick, and hold up very well even with wet food waste in them. With the lidded can we can collect several days of food waste before it goes out to the green can and haven’t had any trouble with the bag breaking or leaking.
