Need I say more? Chilton's is one of the leading DIY manuals out there. I have been buying them since I was 16 (1986 for those keeping track) and have bought one for every car I've ever owned, and one for every car in my family. I've used other manuals like Clymer's and Haynes, which are very good also, but Chilton's are ususally more complete. If you are a real shade tree mechanic like me you need a complete library of them. They are worth the investment.

Lots of great info but also missing a lot too. Hits on almost everything but doesn’t go very deep into it. Not sure why it covers ‘05-‘14 as these are 2 different Jeep GC models. If it was ‘05-‘10 they could’ve put more info. This book covers 6 Jeeps, WK and WK2, 3.7, 5.7, and 6.1.

Have always preferred the Chilton brand to the more common Haynes manuals sold at most parts stores. Great illustrations which help me out a lot. And much cheaper to buy it on Amazon than my local Napa store

The book is easy to read and easy enough to follow directions.

I have Grand Cherokee with Mercedes OM642 engine turbo charged V6 diesel this engine is a beautiful engine and cutting edge to boot but very hard to get info for this engine from either dealer or private shops let alone the home mechanic the book is fine for the petrol units but not for the diesel maybe in a few years when these engine are a bit older and not still under dealer warranty's might they update the manuals for the OM642 Mercedes engines or maybe there might just be a manual for these engines as they are used in a lot of different cars and trucks

want to change my PCV valve. could not find it. it gave me the wrong location on the engine. had to go to the dealer,buy the part and get a print out of where it is located on my engine. instructions are minimal and vague.
