The Story of Channon Rose: Lessons Between the Lines

Channon Rose, Behind the lines & ahead of the Times!
I give this book every star in the rating system.I do read a lot of nonfiction and there's a great number of books I never finished (and probably never will) because I lost interest or the author lost me somewhere along the journey. But NOT this book!!!!I generally like to finish a chapter in my designated "Reading Room" but this book grabbed me & hooked me in a way that few others do. I literally could NOT put it down (even after leaving my "Reading Room")!I really got into this story as though I know Channon Rose. Ironically, I had never heard of her prior to reading this book. However, I began to realize that I met her many times before. Not the author of this book but my cousin is Channon Rose. She also did NOT receive the Love and Attention that a little girl so-oooo desperately needs. My first girl friend was also Channon Rose. She loved me & verbalized it often while I had no-oooo clue that I was selfish & shouldn't have been with her, in the first place. I did NOT love my Channon Rose, I was more in love with her anatomy and all the fun ways I could play with it!!!!So, as I read the author's words, I was really able to embrace her in ways that I embrace a sister, a cousin and a loved one! As the more trouble she got in, the more I felt like her brother. Reassuring her that this is NOT who you are. There are a few typos, but that means very little to someone looking at all of the adversity & expecting a testimony that ends in Victory!Having said that, the only negative criticism that I offer (and I minimize it as much as possible) is that the book is a "Two Parter"Where the book ends is NOT the end of her story! It's:"To be continued..."O Channon, where is thy Victory? O Channon where is thy conclusion?I certainly looked for it (on Amazon) prior to writing this review. O sister, Bless me with a free autographed copy for making me wait!!!!!But this is how the author is ahead of the curve & ahead of the time. I don't have to see her YouTube channel to see that she's an excellent sales person! As I've embraced her character, and want that story of Victory over Adversity...it means she's done an excellent job of grabbing the reader's attention. This book is similar to Charles Dicken's "A Christmas Story" as the reader is allowed to travel with "the Ghost of Channon's Past" to see these significant events, in vivid detail, between as well as behind the lines!Well done!!!!

Interesting story, but the book was assembled weird
The story itself is awesome! I found Channon through her YouTube channel as a teenager and she talks about many of the same stories there and on her Patreon. Her life is very fascinating and the book is definitely worth a read. The only flaw is the way the book was assembled together. Some of the pages are falling out. Every 10-20 pages or so I’ll get one or two that slip right out with a page turn. I’m sad about that, but I’m happy to have read this book and learned more about Channon

Worth the Older and Wiser Commentary
Reading a book can feel way more personal and captivating than watching YouTube videos that shove in your face the view count, likes, comments, their subscriber amount etc.If you're here to read the reviews, here's mine:I've watched Channon with curiosity as never having any issues close as she has had, on YouTube and decided to give her book a go. The videos do give them more life and more backstory. She constantly says that her book "says so", or "says more" and after paying $5 I can say her videos do in fact, tell and show more. I didn't learn anything new I feel minus her high school start in prostitution since she made videos about so much on the book's contents. Her voice comes through since she kept her language haha, but it's not nearly as animated as her videos. I would almost dare to say that she ruined her book by making the stories so readily available on her youtube page, but not everybody can buy her book. Her stories sound fun and reckless in the videos, and the book has a more dreadful & regretful tone.I think if you're wanting yo get to know more about Channon, this isn't worth it.If you're wanting a book to show you how dark a path can go and how to overcome addiction and such, it is uplifting. She doesn't get patronizing or constantly blame others. She has an older and wiser commentary to show that she has accepted her past. All in all this didn't change my life, it wasn't super long, but I am happy she wrote this and sincerely wants others to read her highlights and learn from her mistakes. I hope somebody else does and takes Channon seriously. Thanks for sharing.

Very honest biography
Loved her book! She has been through some really dark times just like a lot of us and she is a true survivor. Her happiness shows everyday in her IG stories which I love to follow. She just has a warm, genuine personality that is very down to earth and relatable. Her book is such a true, in-depth glimpse into her childhood growing up in a broken home and what happens to children whose parents divorce and re-marry. I know personally I grew up with a hateful step-father that treated my sister and I like garbage so to hear Channon’s story made me feel like I wasn’t alone all those years. I wish she would write a sequel about her porn career because her YouTube videos about porn are hilarious!!!! I love watching her YouTube channel as well because she’s just so true to herself and her family life. She’s been through so much and overcome some of the most difficult circumstances and is really an inspiration. If you like biographies you’ll fall in love with her story and life journey. Wish you all the best girl!!!

I am a subscriber of Channon's and we have a very similar life, even our younger years. I decided to read her book, despite hearing about all of the run on sentences and grammar mistake. Everyone mentions this was written as if someone in grade school wrote it.Personally, since she isn't an author and she isn't a novel writer by trade, I don't mind this very much. Autobiographies are written so you can get to know the life and personality of someone, and I believe that leaving the way they write in the novel makes it much more personal and candid, so I almost love the way it's written.I'm on chapter 2, I will read more and I will post back once I am finished with the book.I commend her greatly because I know how hard it can be to be positive in a world that only wants to bring you down and make you suffer. Props to Channon. All my love, xo

Amazing story
I love channon im a subscriber. This is truly powerful and dramatic story of a strong woman raising up through her struggles. I love how she is able to look back on difficult times and see the lessons to be learned in places were most people would shun and not talk about. I great read and would highly recommend

Gripping and heartbreaking story!
I, like everyone else, found Channon through her YouTube videos in which she is a happy and sweet person. So I was completely shocked to read in detail the absolutely heartbreaking and traumatic and to be honest lifetime-movie-worthy childhood she had. At times I felt I was reading some sort of child thriller, especially with the evil step mother stories, which really creeped me out in a "I can't believe the girl I watch on YouTube could have gone through this" kinda way. I found the book surprisingly depressing, as it really is unbelievable how much Channon has been through, and it doesn't really become happier until the last couple of chapters. I can't wait for the next book which I think will be a happier story!!

Love this book!
One of my favorite books, cannot wait for the second one. After watching Channon's Youtube channel for a few years, reading a book felt like an honest friend's advice coming from her life lessons. I found it very useful and interesting.
