I watch for poor mounting that causes rim to tire small leakes. I check each tire for that all year long. When a low tire pressure light comes on my dashboard I use it also to find out which tire got a nail or screw to plug it myself. This is very well made and dependable to give an exact pressure reading.

The thing works good and will hopefully stand the test of time.

The finish of the gauge is good. The issue is that it measures 2 psi off when compared to TPMI sensors and another gauge (that is off by 1/2 psi). That would be 5.5% error @ 36 psi. The internal flare that holds the chuck is cracked. It appears that they just pressed the flare off center, to assemble the chuck instead of use of a centered rolling pin. The bronze alloy seems to have not enough copper to avoid crackling.Update: Great customer support, I received a replacement for this tool and it works great. The seller followed up with me and resolved this issue very quickly and painlessly.

I like this tire pressure gauge because the dial is easy to read. I also like the sea of holding the pressure reading after you disengage. However, this feature doesn't always work but it might be me. If this continues and it is not my fault I may have to return it.
