Great Yoga Shorts
Being new to yoga (mostly Hot Yoga) my wife purchased these shorts as a a Christmas gift for me. I was skeptical at first, as they felt 'heavy' in my hand, but I was pleasantly surprised when I put them on: they fit well, had a nice interior mesh, and weren't 'heavy' at all. Plus they allowed my legs to move in all directions without bunching-up, squeezing my innards, and requiring me pull them down, back into place in between poses. The waistband has a wide band that flexes when you move, so it sits in place while you move, without riding up / down. I am 6' and 150#, so needless to say, I lack hips or an appreciable waist - but these shorts stay-on well. There is a fat drawstring that runs-through the waistband, and when you tie it, it's width doesn't allow the drawstring to dig into your skin. It's really a nice touch, and allows you to tie your shorts without getting that painful rub that can occur on the bony prominence that are (my) hips. The seams are really well-done, and there is no fraying or rough edges around the waistband / legs of the shorts. The seams are soft and comfortable - I don't know what it is that they call this type of seam work, but it's NICE.The interior mesh is incredibly soft and supports your goods, all without over-compressing or pinching you (where your inner thighs meet your torso). The shorts, if sized correctly, are to be worn WITHOUT underwear. THIS is nice, because you are REALLY FREE to move about the cabin without ANY strictures, or hang-ups. I have had no issue(s) with accidental exposures in classes; they're built to keep you and everyone around you safe from accidental exposure. Of course, you can wear them with underwear....but you don't have to, and given the choice? Psh!As an additional benefit, you don't have to wear these shorts only to yoga. They look great, and fit well and can be used for most other sports. I wore them last night for calisthenics / weights / grappling, and they were superb. Don't let the name fool you: these are great all-around shorts that you should try.I've been in-contact with the company, and the customer service is prompt, courteous and professional.Give the Yoga Crow a try - you'll be glad you did.

Well-made yoga shorts for guys! They look good, feel good and work perfectly for hot yoga and workouts.
As I mentioned in another review (for running shorts) I am on what has turned out to be somewhat of a quest to find workout shorts that can be used in a variety of settings and workouts. Personally, that means running (including some distance work), hot yoga and general workouts at the gym. As it turns out, finding the "one short to rule them all" is proving to be quite a challenge. With respect to these Yoga Crow shorts, they are fantastic for hot yoga. I have been able to use them a few times now and they have proven to be worth the extra expense, relative to what I use now which is a combination of regular workout shorts and a separate trunk undergarment.. They stay in place wonderfully on my legs without bunching up or falling out of position and the liner keeps the private parts private. The inseam length is really great (neither too short nor too long) for yoga so these shorts could be used for a general workout at the gym or just hanging out in them.I was concerned about the delicacy of the material with respect to washing instructions (i.e. no dryer or line dry only). As it turns out, they seem to do just fine with tumble dry on the low setting. Thus far, after a few weeks of use, they haven't taken on any odor or smell, which hopefully will continue for the life of the shorts. With respect to using these as running shorts, I don't think they will handle longer distances well, probably be inclined to chaff, but I won't know for sure for a while, until I have a chance to compare with other contendors for the "Best Workout Short" quest upon which I am currentlyengaged (currently just this one and Saxx Kinetic workout shorts but I'm still looking for other contendors). My goal would be to not have to purchase single-purpose shorts for each specific activity, i.e. 3 or 4 for yoga, 3-5 for running and 3-5 for general workouts. At $70-$80 a piece that's adding up pretty quickly! As with the Saxx Kinetic shorts, I wish they were not so expensive but the high quality stuff always seems to cost more. I appreciated the follow-up email from the owner of the company checking to make sure everything was good with the purchase, which it was.All-in-all, a great yoga short for men that can be used for other types of workouts with ease.

Yoga Crow Shorts
Have tried many types of shorts, with and without built in briefs, swimming trunks and other clothing to do yoga. These are the most comfortable I've ever tried. Love the support from the built in brief. Fit is excellent. And even though they are very well constructed, I have yet to find a spot where you feel the discomfort of a hard point when laying in various yoga poses. They are a bit pricey but these appear to be well worth the extra cost.

great shorts
I'm pretty picky with the fit of clothes, and for hot power yoga, not everything will 'work'. the liner in these is comfortable, keeps your gear organized, and where it should be. The shorts don't ride up your legs during inversions or anything, and they don't hold a stink after a few weeks (I wash them every 2 days or so). I would have given them 5 stars if they were easier to wash and dry. Can't have EVERYTHING tho. Good fit, leg length is long enough, almost to knee, and the pockets are good size. I liked them enough to buy a second pair, in case they stop offering them.

Good for Hot Yoga
These are good quality yoga shorts that work well in a hot yoga class. I've been using them for a month and the overall experience is very positive. They are well made and designed: good quality stitching, no loose threads; nice, round tips of the drawstring aglets (haven't seen those for a while). They seem to withstand washing well, but a month is obviously not enough to be sure. The front feels comfortable -- not too loose and not too exposing. The liner does a good job of moisture wicking, so the skin remains sweat free for the entire class.I found the size selection a bit challenging. The description says the shorts are slim, so I ordered the large size, even though my actual waist measurement is less than 34'. I like the length of this size, but the waist could be slimmer. Machine drying it one time, as suggested by the manufacturer, may help. I may try medium size in the future, specially, if all these hot yoga classes reduce my waist even more.

Material quality is excellent very comparable if not better than other top brand ...
I bought this to use for hot yoga. Picture is a very accurate representation of the product. Material quality is excellent very comparable if not better than other top brand yoga product which I use. This is now my first choice. The undergarment in non abrasive and comfortable. Most importantly it is comfortable when doing the yoga positions and does not restrict your movement. I wish Yoga Crow would also sell the shirts in Canada. Overall an excellent product and I would recommend it highly.

A bit pricey but great fit and quality product...
Excellent quality. I'm 5'8" 150#. The size Small is perfect fit. Not body-hugging like bicycle shorts/tights but fit close to the body and stretchy allowing free movement. Perfect for yoga. Built-in liner is a plus. It may be a bit pricey but I haven't found anything like this for men that is as close to almost perfectly what I wanted. Too bad no holiday special!

the best pants a man can get
This is my second pair of Yoga Crows. They let you move freely in Vriksasana without bunching and don't make you look super awkward in Savasana. Black is a good choice if doing hot yoga. Owner called me after my order to make sure I was happy. I own their shirts too.
