This is a quality magnifying glass that feels sturdy in hand. It isn't flimsy and has a good weight, but it isn't heavy. Rubber outer coating makes me feel much better about our toddler using it outside too. Definitely recommend for the price.

Great quality

Seems solid and well made, with a large lens which provides a decent viewing area. The weight of it may be a little surprising to some, but it is a glass lens which provides a clear view of the item that you're trying to look at. The magnification is sufficient to make very small text on things like food labels readable, but not so much that areas distort and limit the clear viewing area.

Choose this as I could not decide which magnification to go for and pictures gave no real distiction so though this is in the middle magnification wise and I can not be more delighted, it is absolutley perfect. The glass's circumference is big enough to get clear observation, the handel is as it says very comfortable neither to thin nor to broad and it is lightweight, I would reccomend this not only for kids but for everyone, a very happy customer, thank you

This magnifying glass is perfect for my needs, I do alot of small fine detail art workI can now see all the small details clearly. Comfy to hold it's quite light in your hand.

Quite well made and a useful magnifier, but do not expect 8x power. My measurement of image versus object sizes demonstrates that the figure is nearer 2x if you want a distortion-free view!

excellent magnification

8 X magnification??? I don’t think so.I bought this item for my Wife who does dot to dot pictures. My wife is starting to struggle with the 2X magnification she has been using. My wife cannot distinguish the difference between the 2 magnifiers.

I just wanted a cheap magnifying lens to show my 2 year old kid. This is a well made product, it's weighty and made of glass with a high quality rubber handle. It's absolutely perfect for young ones. As mentioned, it certainly isn't 8x magnification - more like 2 or 3x. Anything past that and it's distorted - still, I don't care about that as it's just an educational toy for my kid. She was amazed by it so it did its job haha.Highly recommended as a learning tool for your toddler. Very well made and good quality for the price.

Questa lente l’ho comprata per mia figlia dato che gli serviva a scuola e devo dire che è molto maneggevolee pratica.Visto che ha tutta l’impugnatura in gomma è anche sicura. Per il prezzo devo dire proprio un ottimo prodotto!

I am a quilter who uses lots of different spools if thread. The mfg j use most has gone to a teeny font I can’t read. This magnifier is perfect! I can read everything and it’s not too big or small gif my hand. Like it do much I ordered a second to keep my computer!!
