PardubaTrumpet Mouthpiece (PARTP5HJ)

First, mouthpiece selection is an individual choice, almost a religious devotion. That being said, I am amazed by this mouthpiece. After being away from serious practice and performance for almost 30 years while working on a career and family, I got the opportunity to again join a group of musicians based on my past ability. Regaining my old chops was more of a chore than I expected, with loss of range and endurance.All of my old standard mouthpieces felt too deep, and like I couldn't fill the cup or horn with enough air. I guess my lips thinned out over time. Others have complained this mouthpiece is tough to get used to but I didn't find that at all. It was immediately comfortable and I found it easier to fill the horn with air. I couldn't seem to over blow and I was easily able to hit High C whether I was playing pianissimo or fortissimo. Low range didn't suffer and before even a single practice was over I was back to my college range of G above High C. Dang, why didn't I know about this mouthpiece 30 years ago?
