G-ShockCasio G-shock Carbon Core Guard Ga-2100-4ajf Mens Japan Import

This is my first G shock ever, color is just beautiful but I find it a little bit small since I have a big wrist. I ended up ordering a Ga 700 which is a bigger model and I wanted to have different choices to wear. I don't really have any complains overrall, watch is easy to read even at night(turning on the light). I read a few negative reviews regarding display visibility at night, but in my particular case this is not an issue since I don't have any vision issues.

I thought this was a nice watch, though the image they use has more contrast. It is not a darker vermillion red dial, like in the photos. The digital display, while small, is readable if you just twist your arm a bit in daylight to the right angle. My main issue, is the plastic clasp/buckle. Like that's not going to break eventually. I understand it's an all red watch, but I'd rather have a black or silver buckle if it's metal, like on the other colors of this model.

This is a fun watch. Everytime I wear it I get some kind of comments about it, usually positive but no garuntees. It's loud and fun. As a practical watch is kind of silly. The red on red on red design makes it all but illegible most of the time. It is actually more legible to see at night than in the day because of this. So as a rotational watch in a collection, absolutely. As a main watch , nope. But that really shouldn't be what you were trying to get it for in the first place.

This is one of my most favourite from G-Shock. The display is beautiful; it has a dial for the day of the week and a combined digital display for day of month and second. The red on red does not hinder being able to tell the time. The watch face is smaller than a typical G-Shock, but it still looks amazing on.
