Not least, New England offers a spectacular seacoast, backed by a richly varied interior of river valleys, forests, and mountains. This reviewer thinks the great of state of Maine is treated as a bit of an afterthought, but this guide is highly recommended as a good planning resource.

Very useful and we always buy the DK eyewitness when we go to a major destination. Unfortunately we were noble to go on this particular destination due to Coronavirus. Nevertheless the DK books are always excellent and full of the right sort of information.
