Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It’s a gorgeous book! Love the colors especially the drawing of the dragonflies for every chapter! I’m not completely done with the novel but so far o find it very interesting and the main character is quite funny! Although, when I received the book it was damaged at the top but other than that it’s fine.

Just as magic as “A Sky Painted Gold”
Yet again, Lucy Wood has written a timeless romance that envelopes you and is very hard to put down. The way she describes, so sensually and with such original descriptions, the Ville de Stelle in Italy, is worthy of ‘Chocolat’, while the fledgling romance between Bea and Ben quickens your pulse and stirs (for me) very real memories from my own experience of first love many years ago! Wood is now firmly one of my favourite authors.

Brilliant story, expertly crafted characters
I couldn't put it down until I got to the very last page. The backdrop of Italy in the 1930s was fascinating and Bea and Benedik had my sympathy from the very start. The vast set of 'supporting characters' are all entertaining and interesting, I could practically visualize them as I was reading the story. Wonderful writing.

So underrated
The writing is stunning I adore this book so muchhhh. If you’re looking for a light cottage core type of romance this book is the one. It’s so cute, how is it not more popular?

Dreamy Much Ado prequel
I saved Under a Dancing Star for my holiday and was so glad I did, I devoured it in one day, losing myself in 30s Italy and first love. Thank you Laura.
