perfect replacement for metal halite
I needed a replacement for an old metal halite fixture, so i came across this. I was blown away by the light output this thing produces compared with a metal halite bulb. However, it isn't just about brightness. Because this fixture uses LEDs, there is no need to replace bulbs of any kind. I used to have to get up on a scissor lift to change the bulbs in my old fixture which is incredibly annoying to have to do every few months. Also, i didn't realize until i received the package (which is my fault for not fully reading the description) that this fixture also includes a dusk to dawn sensor. I had my electrician hook up the old fixture to a timer, but that was a pain in the a** to have to change throughout the year. With the new one it's completely automatic. I would definitely recommend this product and I will be purchasing 4 more.

Nice and bright white light. Ordered three and installed November 2020. Replaced three Sodium Vapor Fixtures that were on church roof. Noticed in September 2021 that one of the lights, that one of the sections was burned out. Inquired about warrant and blueplanet2000 sent out an replacement right away. Would buy these lights again.

NEED LARGE METRIC HEX WRENCH TO ADJUST. LARGER THAN MOST STANDARD WRENCH SETSPP
SO FAR SO GOOD BRIGHT EASY TO INSTALL BUT 3” FEEDER TAIL SHOULD BE 7-12” FOR EASIER CONNECTION. LARGE METRIC ALLEN TYPE KNUCKLE BOLT SHOULD BE HEX HEAD TO ACCOMMODATE ADJUSTABLE WRENCH USE.

AVOID THIS SELLER
Product seemed to operate fine upon first instpection/installation. After 4 months of operation, the assembly failed. We reordered another. When we opened the first product, the driver/ballast had shorted out and fried all the wiring. When we opened the new one, we found the driver and photo cell were wired backwards, and did not operate. We did fix this, by eliminating the photo cell. WHEN CONTACTING SELLER FOR WARRANTY, ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE IS GIVEN. 9 EMAILS LATER, AND STILL NO RESPONSE. DO NOT USE THIS SELLER, AND FIND A BETTER PRODUCT.

I installed the lights with the Dusk to Down sensor and the light works great at nightt but it won't turn off when it gets daylight.
