Fits better than expected. Seems to be of good quality.
I use these gloves for bucking hay, mending fences, cleaning horse stalls, etc. Only time will tell on their durability. So far they are quite comfortable.

The measurement guide is right, believe it.
This review is based on my "out of the package" impression based on the product discription which I based my purchase on. My biggest disappointment was that the gloves I bought from Illinois Glove Company were made in Pakistan. In their product discription they speak of their history since 1919 and how their craftsmanship and make them "the best in the industry. Today, we continue to devise changes that make our gloves fit better last longer....". Pakistan wasn`t even a country until 1947 so I dont think that statement is relevant to the selling of these gloves. I presume this is a marketing effort on the part of Amazon. The more I deal with them the less I respect their efforts toward honesty in advertising. Granted, it never says "Made in the USA" but it leans heavily in that direction in my opinion. It is on their site and they are making money on it so I hold them responsible for screening their site. The gloves were delivered on time and packed in a bubble lined envelope. No problem. How much protection should a pair of buffalo hide gloves need? They are well made and of very nice looking and feeling materiaI. I used the measurements recommended (3.25 inches which is Mens Medium) and ordered the smallest size available on Amazon (Large) even though there are 3 smaller sizes listed with the measurement guide. The gloves are too large, imagine that. I can literally put my ring finger and middle finger into the center finger hole at the same time. They are loose at the cuff where the elastic is. I also bought a pair of lined buffalo hide gloves of the same size and they fit well other than the cuff. I bought them to see if this leather was better than cowhide. Time will tell and I will finish my review.

Buffalo leather rocks!
I do a lot of firewood..so I go through a lot of gloves! So far , I really like the fit and feel of the gloves!Like the rough inner leather feel on hand...gloves don’t slide around!Only used them a few days.. but hoping they outlast cowhide gloves!I have a feeling that, these will be my go to gloves, from now on.

Long fingers, sizing chart works
Made in Pakistan. This leather has been processed (tumbled) long enough to really soften the leather for a good comfortable fit.The gloves do seem to be a bit thin compared to other Buffalo Leather gloves I have tested, but do not seem to be thin compared to other leather gloves on the market. The sizing chart (hand width) worked, but the fingers were about 1" too long for my stubby fingers - so my wife got yet another pair of gloves...I also turned them inside out to look at the stitching and leather and they seem to be a well made pair of gloves.

Do not fit as medium sized should.
Thumb and forefinger very wide, cut ~40% too wide.Pinky finger 3/4" too long. This style work glove should fit snugly to facilitate fine work and handling small items. These do not.
