Okay tools. Case was broken when it arrived though, kinda phoney. Tools came sharp but didn't hold their edge long. Definitely not HSS like advertised.

It is a well make tool and great price. My husband is making Christmas gifts for the grandkids. He is very please with it. Handle is great. Work well. We are please Amazon carried great woodwok tools with gret price. Thanks for the vendor carried it.

This is an awesome spindle roughing gouge! It was shipped sharp, which most wood lathe tools are not. Very heavy duty feel to the tool and cuts incredible! You can remove a lot of wood with this tool very quickly! I highly recommend this tool to anyone looking for a spindle roughing gouge!

Solid handle, balanced feel, worked well but just know that keeping your edge sharp is critical to smooth removal of material and daily sharpening is best practice. I would recommend this product.

This is a big, tough, well made tool that will handle the hardest roughing lathe tasks. Could not be better.

I’ve had this tool for a few weeks and it seems to be a good purchase. I’ve turned some dark walnut and some cedar with it so far. It was sharp right out of the package and is still sharp. So far, so good.
