These are easy to install and were the best priced on Amazon for a 3 pack. They seem to work OK, we have no noticeable odor or discoloration in our water or ice cubes. I'll be buying again when these are used up.

Prompt Customer Service
Our initial shipment was very poorly packaged in a flimsy box with a piece of 3" packing tape on the bottom that was the end of the roll and whomever packed the box left about a 6" tail off the end of the roll just hanging off the side of the package. On the top of the box they used a 1"x3" piece of tape that had broken and so we only received 1 of the 3 filters we had paid for, and no instructions, or decals that help you keep up with when to replace the filter.We contacted customer service through the website provided through Amazon and received a prompt email stating that the issue would be resolved if we provided our order number and shipping address. Upon submitting the requested information, within a week, customer service not only reimbursed us for the 2 missing filters from the initial shipment, but they provided us with an extra 4 filters to make up for the hassle.The filter fit our application well, with no leaks, and seem to do their job of filtering our water well. We have a family member with a VERY acute sense of smell who gave the filtered water a stamp of approval and shy of having the water professionally tested, that's the best we can give you for the filtering capabilities, other than to maybe say there wasn't anything floating in the water after we replaced our current filter.🧐

Junk
Ordered the correct part number. What should be a 10 second flip of a filter in and out turned into 20 minutes of fighting. The notch on the twist lock is smaller than the same exact part number filter installed. Pure junk. I have 3 non fitting filters.

Doesn't fit
I purchased this water filter for my Whirlpool model #8171413. I could not get these to fit in my refrigerator. The size and threading of the new filter did not match the old filter at all. The item description is very misleading.
