Gates 42134 Premium Engine Water Pump

I’ve been a fan of gates products since being introduced to the brand many many years ago. No matter what car I’ve stuck these products on, they last, and they’re extremely good quality. The installation instructions provided are always top tier, and all the things they include with their kits is perfect. 12/10, will continue to keep buying

No issues - working fine.One tip so you don't find out the hard way like I did. You don't *need* to remove the thermostat housing to get this pump on and off. DON'T remove the housing if you don't need to. If you do, get yourself a new O-ring for the housing from the dealer or here on Amazon. The thermostat housings are EXTREMELY fragile, and if you assemble with anything other than a new, perfect condition factory O-ring, you will break the thermostat housing. It takes about a week for one to come in when the dealership orders it for you, and you can't get one for an NB anywhere else.Just spend the extra 10 minutes working the pump around the housing, and save yourself the $110 and week of down time I wasted.

Part fit perfectly

Was listed to fit mazda 1.6 or 1.8, but no mention of having to cut off a mounting point to fit a 1.6 engine.

The media could not be loaded. This will surpass the oem water pump, I highly recommend it for all miata maintenance

This water pump does not have a cast impeller.

Box was a little banged up but I don't see any damage. It's worth noting that it DOES NOT HAVE A CAST IMPELLER.

Best water pump to get for any miata. Not work getting any other one.

Fitted perfectly on my 99 miata.

This pump had been previously installed and returned with gasket material stuck to surfaces. No gaskets included in box. Quality control, people!!Will be buying from a local supplier instead.
