It's soap. I cleans as well as any other soap. What differentiates this, is the scent is masculine, but very natural. All other "soaps" has a clear artificial chemically based smell to it. LIke colognes, scents should complement your natural body scent, not make smell completely like the soap. Will buy over and over again.

I was expecting a better product for the price. NOT at all different from a bar of soap. I am not sold on this product.

My first bar was excellent, the second bar was not as good.

Most soaps that claim they can be used as a shampoo are lying.Usually they clean a body well, but they tend to leave your hair feeling gross.Woody's however is an exception.It delivers a fine good-smelling lather that works as a good shampoo that leaves your hair clean and not heavy.The only downside is that it's a LARGE bar, so, you get plenty of product, but it's not a good "fit" in many showers.

This soap has been my choice for the past 3 years. I've never used it as a shampoo, but as body soap it's one of the best. It moisturizes like a champ, lathers well in VERY hard water and, due to it's size, lasts a very long time. Overall the performance and fragrance are pure win. I hope they never stop making it, otherwise I'm in trouble.

Woody's soap is the perfect answer for a man that will not move onto body wash or decent smelling natural soaps. It travels well and leaves behind a musky scent with no flowery overtones. I bought this for my new husband when he was reluctant to give up regular, greasy, bar soap. This soap is fresh, lasts a long time and leaves no residue.

This item does a very good job cleaning your body and hair. It does not dry out my hair as other shampoo bars have done in the past. Will buy this product again. Does not leave your hair stripped away of oil.

Giant bar of soap, great smell, cleans well, and lasts forever because there isn't any filler like the store bought brands.-

After trying to use this for a couple of weeks, I have now finally given up and consider it to be a rather large bar of body soap alone.It's no good for hair any longer than a grade 1 military buzz-cut, as it doesn't rinse very well at all, and if your hair is longer than an inch it feels almost sticky and like straw. No smoothness there at all.Yuck.Truly awful as a shampoo bar.So, expensive body soap it is then... sigh.
