Completely useless.
I wish that I had never ordered this product. It was a complete waste of my money. Just walking out to the mailbox, which is about 120 steps round trip is registered as 432 steps on the pedometer. Standing up from sitting equals about 8 steps. Too much hassle to return it. I'll just take the loss. I do not recommend this pedometer .

Inaccurate
Walked the same 1/2 mile course for 5 days. Compared the first and second day readings and they were off by a significant amount. On the third fourth and fifth day I counted my steps and compared the count to the pedometer, turned out my manual count was more consistent than the pedometer. Returned it & am awaiting my credit.

defective
This model has no on or off button and designed to run continuously with only a reset button. Projected battery life is one year. After my initial excitement at finding what I perceived to be a quality step counter I was very disappointed when mine was defective. This may be an isolated quality problem but it has been returned.

So far so good
the button seems to get pushed alot during the day causing it to reset my steps. not sure if it is me hitting it or if its doing it on its own. kind of annoying but otherwise seems to work great. very small so easy to hide.
