work well, tough, great to be able to see the flies. been using them for starter fly box gifts for new fly fisher friends of mine. load them up with a dozen starter flies and get my friends hooked!

I have these in a variety of sizes and they are easy to handle, have nice latches, feel high-quality, and are easy to use on the water.

Good size for my striper streamer flies

I am very happy with this case. For a small fly box, this is extremely sturdy and functional. It has survived drops and resisted being crushed on several occasions. The clear lids provide good visibility without having to unnecessarily open the lid on the river until you actually need to. Maybe I missed it in the description and the pics but there is a small tie down point as well. This was important for me since I fly fish with a lanyard and keep a small fly box on a keychain retractor hooked to my belt or waders. I bought another once recently and will probably get a third as backup. Good value and good quality overall.

This set is perfect. You can put the small one in your vest (dry flies and nymphs), the medium in your backpack (terrestrials and poppers), and have your large one for seasonal trade outs. They seal well and flies are easy to get in and out, but the lures stay securely in their slots.My only wish would be a tether ring on the small and medium so you don't drop them in the river, but I've never really had that problem.

I was hoping for a slightly smaller size to better fit in a shirt pocket; this one fits but only in larger sized pockets. Holds a goodly number of flies though I see no reason to pack them in too tightly.

I was looking for a waterproof box or two for small to medium streamers. I wet wade for smallmouth and largemouth in piedmont streams and rivers. These seemed to be well made but the triangle/slit configuration of the foam just didn't work well for the size fly (4, 6, 8) I use. Probably good for dry flies, nymphs, and wollyboogers. Anyway, I sent them back.
