Wahl Trimmer & Detailer Trimming Kit

Very loud

Works alright, only used once but the whole bundle cost half of what it cost to send out dogs to the parlor once so I can't complain about the price.. it's just quite noisy

DELIVERY WAS SPOT ON. However upon opening I found there was no AA battery, oil bottle, or cleaning brush as stated the kit includes.

We've been struggling to trim between the toes of our toy poodles for a while, and this is just the job, it does an excellent trim. There's literally no vibration, it's a little loud though, a high pitched whizzing to the motor.The only fault I can draw is the battery life, after trimming 3 dogs feet and around their ears the AA battery was depleted and we had to get another, rechargeable-high capacity- batteries are the way to go with this trimmer.If the battery life had of been better, or there had been a mains ability to power this it'd have gotten the full 5 stars. As it is, it's a very good foot and face trimmer, for our dogs, our rabbit and guinea pigs! Anything small and delicate.

Really doesn't work, I wanted it for puppy paws, paws still scruffy.

Purchased to used on my pooches paws, the size and description of being quiet sold it to me. It's very loud and doesn't trim very well. It's no better than a nose trimmer for humans.

The small size of this trimmer is perfect for removing matts from a cat's coat, my reason for buying it.I have a larger Wahl trimmer that I have used for years, so when I saw this small trimmer I knew, because of the brand it would be good. It has not disappointed, the tiny head is perfect for getting into small spaces and for removing small matts, etc. Other reviewers have stated that it does not cut through matted hair and is therefore not suited for its purpose. There is no trimmer on the market that can cut through matted or felted hair. The trick is to get right to the base of the matt were it is joined to the skin, then holding the trimmer head horizontal to the skin and base of matt start to cut through the hairs holding it in place. It does take some practice, but well worth the effort and so much safer than scissors, etc.This trimmer is fairly noisy and I was concerned that the cat would not let it near her, but to my surprise she was not at all bothered and seemed very calm, while I removed the offending matt.Thoroughly recommended...!

These do the trick but I bought a pair that were not a well known brand and they were much better as they are plastic and not metal so are much safer. But the worst thing about these are they aren't as quiet, they are pretty loud. Which makes them much more difficult to use on sensitive animals. The other shavers are so quiet my rabbit just stands there and let's me shave her dewlap! (to stop it getting wet when she drinks out of her bowl)
