My unit was shipped without the side shelves. I promptly contacted the manufacturer and they have failed to adequately respond. I have been waiting 5 days for a response.As to quality: The footings were bent, there is weld spatter all over, some parts were mis-tapped requiring me to improvise.Also I was expecting a metal roof and I was surprised that it was plastic. The plastic roof only partially blocks the sun.Deficiently wasted my money on this one and continuing to seek a refund. Wayfair offers a $150 grill gazebo with similar dimensions. No way it could be worse than this one.

I got this, Hanover Morning Vale 9.8' D x 9.8' W x 9.4' H Aluminum and Steel Patio Canopy Gazebo, four years ago and still love it! It's heavy as heck and does not budge in the wind, even during several tornado warnings. We didn't even secure it down to the deck. We had no problem at all setting it up. We keep the canopy top on all winter (zone 6 for gardeners) and I just noticed the canopy has a small tear on the sunny side. Not bad for being four years old; we will patch it. It's not 100% waterproof, but I enjoy being out there in a light rain and keep dry enough. We hang plants from the curtain rods and therods don't bend at all. Love this!

Not sure how good the product actually is or isn’t. It’s currently sitting in a pile in my garage because no hardware was included in the packaging. After a month of trying to resolve the issue with the manufacturer, I’m now being told it’ll be an additional 6-8 weeks before they get hardware packets in. It took a month of calling and emailing just to get put on their backorder list. I guess I’ll have to source the hardware myself at an additional cost. I’m more than happy to update this review if the manufacturer come through and resolves this before it cost me more money.

Took me and my friends 2 days to assemble. I loved it but had some rain today and winds were not that high and this is what happened. Now it’s money wasted ... for the price I feel like it shouldn’t be damaged like it is. I barely had it a month.

Fits perfect on the patio over our hot tub. Of all the ones I have looked at this one was my favorite.

Update: missing parts received after contacting manufacturer; & upgraded to 4 starts. Tricky assembly.The product came packaged with missing parts. When unpackaged, the product was missing necessary components:- Four*(part AA) .. M6x15 Bolt & Washer- One*(part H) .. U-shape kitI’m not sure if it’s possible to get these parts, as Amazon only allows a request for an entire replacement and it already took 2 of us an hour to setup, albeit with missing parts.Otherwise, it could be good, but is currently too unstable.

This pergola isn’t worth the money. The shade can be adjusted on each side to achieve the desired shade. Unfortunately, the shade doesn’t stay in place. With every breeze the shade moves up or down. The shade had weighted rails inside each end. But, they don’t do anything. The aren’t heavy enough. I’ve reached out to the company several times asking for a solution to the problem. They continue to tell me they will get an answer in 24-48 hours. I have not to this day received any kind of solution. I can send it back in the original box and they will refund money minus a 30% restocking fee. Since the original box was mangled when we got it we no longer have it. So if I send it back I will be charged a 50% restocking fee. So they make no effort to fix the problem. Any way I look at this situation,I am out a lot of money. Poor business practices. Unfair to paying customers.
