SHANY Urban Gal Collection Professional Makeup Apron - Makeup Artist Brush belt - Cotton

I was slightlu dissappointed at first when i bought is product- I still love it to hold my brushes except I clearly didn't pay attention to detail. I though this included the brushes but its only the pouch. Didn't matter though since I bought a set of shany brushes to go I to this pouch (even though that came with a roller pouch). Ya I probably spent a little too much on the pouch and on top of that a set of brushes to go I. It. It it didn't matter. I did like this pouch. Makes it easier now for being more mobile too when I go to my friends houses and they ask me to do their makeup. It's eliminates the clutter and scramble for looking for brushes. Use a brush, put it in the apron so it doesn't get misplaced.I give it 5 stars because my stupidity shouldn't deter anyone from buying this. I should of read what I was getting otherwise I would be owning this. I decided not to because I knew I could still use it. If I didn't think I could of used this then ya I'd either gift it to a friend or get rid of it/get my money back. The quality is fine and I just did t read lol-jill

pos: I was almost disappointed that I had ordered this belt. i got to looking at the picture after I ordered this belt and it looked like it was made the way several aprons I have at work were made and with the same material. I was going to send it back because of the negative reviews. Boy was I wrong! I have had this belt for about 2 weeks now and it has held up very well! it holds my barber shears and combs and clips and razors quite nicely and the belt part has held up better than the negative reviews have said! this belt is stiff enough to use for shears and does hold them quite nice around your waist the case does not bump the client while cutting the hair.neg: The only thing is...is that it is made to fit a larger waist. if you have a skinny waist (size 8 or smaller women - or size 30 or smaller men) and you still would like this belt than you MUST modify the buckle part by cutting one side and making the belt part shorter.

I have a small body and this seems to be quite loose on me. I put it on the tightest/shortest setting but it still droops down and sags and feels like it’s going to slide off my body... but it does the job and has decent space and even though i get the feeling it’s going to fall off, it hasn’t actually ever fallen off. I would definitely recommend, i know that not everyone is as small as me (double zero in pants) so i know this probably won’t be a problem. Also the material is very nice and doesn’t feel cheap!

I just received this tonight.(well, it was here when I came home) On first inspection, it seems very well made. It doesn't look to be crappily done, like it will fall apart with daily use. It has plenty of pockets for brushes and other essentials. I was worried that it wouldn't be tight enough for me, but both sides of the strap adjust, so it is a decent fit. But if you're smaller than a size 3, it may be loose. I like the loops, perfect to hang my hand sanitizer or name badge on.(I got the cloth, not leather one) It arrived quickly too. I expect to be very happy with it.

So I was skeptical prior to this purchase. My apprehensions were more so regarding the texture/material of the product. I didn’t want that pu leather, because it splits and sheds and the aesthetic is mediocre; however, when I unboxed my package, I was pleasantly surprised because the fabric is exactly what I would want for this type of product. It is worth every penny!!!!

When I see or rather saw this I thought the brushes came with it. Of course that is what I get for not reading the reviews before buying. This product is probaly very good for ppl who have a brush set and ready for use. For a person like myself, I have no brushes and never used any before. So, this is a good holding apron, yet I still say, if you are going to put a picture online of the item, take one with the brushes then one without so the costumer will know what they are getting. ^_^

I bought this brush belt because i needed it for an event im going to be doing makeup at, but once i got it i was soo happy that i bought it. All my brushes fit in here and it still has space for more brushes, I have 60+ brushes. I defiantly recommend this brush belt to any Makeup Artist or to anybody that just wants one. Another thing i loved was the price. I saw a lot of smaller brush belts and were more expensive. This is a good quality brush belt at a great price. As a Makeup Artist I recommend this brush belt %100

Bought this for the size and pockets. Planned to use it on a photo shoot and within two minutes of taking it out of the packaging one of the sides of the belts had ripped off completely. I was not stretching it; the belt was already too big for my waist on its tightest setting. After being embarrassed and having to ask the photographer at the photo shoot for safety pins, the other side had ripped off within the first hour of ever touching the product. I have never ordered from Shany Cosmetics before so I will not vouch for any other products, but this was definitely not a very pleasant experience :(. Better luck hopefully on the next belt I order.
