After your dermatologist tells you that this drugstore brand lotion is better than any higher end brand, it's worth giving it a shot! I have very problematic skin. I'm very oily and acne prone but take acne meds and use topicals that dry me out. I know it's confusing! But the key is to use the gentlest cleansers and keep my skin hydrated. I have been using this lotion for years and years. I wear it under makeup and alternate between it and the cream at night. I've recently started switching back and forth between this and Cerave because I'd heard such great things. I've got to say that I honestly don't really have a favorite between the two. I see similar results from the both. I would go for whichever is the best deal at the time. It is worth noting that if you're going to use this as your daytime moisturizer, you will need a separate sunscreen as this has no SPF. Cetaphil makes a specific face moisturizer with one. I don't find that one to be hydrating enough for me.By the way, this isn't just for the face, it's a great light lotion for all over. It's very gentle and rarely irritating. If you have sensitive skin, it's a good one to try!

I have tried many hand and body lotions in my life, as you probably have too, and most are too light, too heavy, too sticky, or cause your skin to sting.  Cetaphil Fragrance Free Moisturizing Lotion, 16-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)  has none of these negatives. It works great. It absorbs well and I use it on my face and body every morning and night.After having minor surgery, I was concerned about using some of my fragranced lotions as they might cause some skin irritation. My skin doc suggested using Cetaphil, either in cream or lotion formula. I chose the lotion and was very impressed. No burning or stinging, no smell, no stickiness and my skin felt great. I could even use my iPad after applying it on my hands.I bought the twin pack so I could give some to my daughter, who really likes it too. Great product!

I had to use a non-comodegenic moisturizer after I got on my acne medicine and it would dry my skin. The lotion isn't too heavy at all it spreads very easily, but coats on the skin at a good rate. It's fragrance free and smells fine. Very good moisturizer keeps your skin soft and tender for I'd say at least 8 hours. Not greasy at all. All though I would warn you to make sure you spread it very well and and evenly as it can make your face look oily, but just spread evenly and you're all good. I pump a little marble-sized amount in my hands and it's enough for my hands, forearms, face and neck. Great lotion for everyday use. Love it!

I find this lotion too greasy for daytime, but it makes for a fantastic bedtime moisturizer. Though the lotion feels greasy, it doesn't cause breakouts. It works best if I apply it right after washing up, when I've toweled off my skin and it's still moist. When applied on top of dry skin that's dried out or flaky this just sits on top and feels gross. I'm on accutane and have dry, breakout prone skin.

Not only is this excellent for skin care, I've found it to be 10X better than any shave cream for my face. I get closer shaves with older blades and almost no irritation compared with other products.

数年前から全身どの部分でも、ちょっとでも刺激があるとみみず腫れになってしまい皮膚科に通ってた時期もありましたが処方された飲み薬や塗り薬でもあまり改善せず･･･乾燥を防ぎたいけど香料が入っているものだと、塗ったそばからかゆみが出てしまって、すぐ手に取れてコスパのいい保湿ローションはほとんど肌に合いませんでした。セタフィルは＊大容量でコスパを考えずたっぷり使える＊無香性＊敏感肌用で低刺激＊ポンプをロック出来る＊変なベタベタ感がなくすっきりたっぷり塗り込めるすごくお気に入りです！あえてマイナス面を挙げるとすれば大容量な分、中身が残ってしまって成分劣化が少し気になるくらい。

Best online price for this amount of Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion that I could find. It's a really good, non-greasy moisturising lotion with no added preservatives or perfumes. Perfect for those of us with more sensitive skin :)
