Our door bell and started peeling really bad. Did a bit of research and worked out ours was a version 1 , wired door bell so bought this cover and wow - excellent product and installed in seconds - now I have pride back in my house ! Peeling door bell urgh

I’m not really for leaving reviews but after reading reviews I thought I would try this as our camera has peeled dramatically and it’s made such a difference, looks like a new one. As you can see no change to our night vision at all

Cheap and easy to install, makes the doorbell camera look much better with it being more discreet and protects it against the elements, worth the price.

Nest. A lovely doorbell but a poor design. If the bell is placed where it’s likely to see a lot of sun, it can start to delaminate. Which means it is susceptible to over-heating. Which can ultimately lead to malfunctioning and it’s demise. This protects the bell. It’s doing it’s job. The fit is tight. The camera hole does slightly cover the edges of the camera but not in a bad way. About 99% of the camera lens still has exposure so it can do it’s intended job. Only sorry I didn’t know about this product earlier but glad it covers up the ugly delaminating. More importantly, the bell no longer overheats in the sun.

This protector fits the nest doorbell nicely; it wasn't too tight and thus difficult to fit, but not loose either. Incidentally, it fits over the bracket as well, not just the doorbell.Your view is not obstructed at all by the peak that protects the lens, it is just visible in the upper left and right corners of the image. Furthermore, infra-red is not blocked by the protector, so night vision works perfectly.Only time will tell how well it performs in the elements, especially in the long run.

Doesn't have hole for IR leds

It fits well, is cheap, and looks very nice also.Like mentioned in other reviews you have to cut out a small slot for the night vision leds.No bother for me to do and I've ordered a second one for my parents in law.
