Grain, Wheat & Potato Free! Great Dog Food!
Zignature Turkey: I've been feeding my terrier Zignature Turkey for over a year & it's a great food. I needed a food that was Corn & Wheat Free due to allergies & food sensitivities. When my dog was on another brand of food, she was getting a lot of ear infections so I read about how yeast can be fed by potatoes in the diet, so I looked for a quality food that did not contain potatoes. Zignature is one of the brands that makes food without potatoes, & the company gets good ratings on the dog food advisor sites. (There are Not many dog foods that are potato free). Her ear infections cleared, & she is less itchy since being on this food, so I'm very happy. I'm finding that Amazon has had great prices on the 4 lb & 13.5lb bags (about $3-4 less per bag than my local pet supply store, plus it's delivered right to the door so that's awesome). The one thing I don't like (& the manufacturer can improve on) is the actual bag. It does not have a ziplock type close top to keep the food fresh. So what I do is I keep the food in the original bag, & then use a chip clip to close the bag after each feeding, then put that into a plastic storage container. When I buy the 13.5 lb bags, to keep that fresh, I will keep a used 4 lb bag, then pour a little at a time in the bag, chip clip & store each bag. That way the larger bag doesn't spoil fast after it's open. My most recent bags I ordered have 2018 expiration dates, so no worries about having time to use them. Another thing I like about the brand- they have great customer service. I called them once & they sent me coupons & sample packs for the different flavors. They offer 100% satisfaction guarantee which is nice too. Recommended for: Dogs with food allergies/ sensitivities. If switching food, vets recommend doing a gradual switch so as to not cause stomach upset. Also, if comparing costs, also take a look at 1) ingredients 2) feeding instructions. Some of the "cheaper" brands of food have a lot of fillers (corn or carbs), so the feeding amounts may actually be 1-2x more than that of a good quality food. Hope you found this review helpful. Happy shopping! :)

High Quality Food
The three bags I have purchased so far have been just as if I got them from the pet store. The weight is reasonable. Not too heavy. The bag is tightly sealed keeping the food fresh and tasty for my Doxies. I love the size of the kibble since my dogs try to eat as quickly as possible without chewing. These larger kibble make them slow down and actually enjoy their food more. The food does not smell but based on reviews of dog food experts the nutritional value of the turkey based food is great. I sometimes use the food as a quick treat. My dogs love to look out the front door and bark as they think they are the Neighborhood Crime Watchers. When someone with a dog walks by or the mailman delivers the mail I just shake the container I put the food in and they come running. Their coats are nice and shiny attesting to the quality of the ingredients. And no loose stools. I keep some of the food in plastic containers so it's easily accessible and more versatile than going into the bag daily to get more food

Good dog food
My dog doesn't eat dry dog food by itself. When I give him meat with it he picks out the meat! But, this dog food, he eats with the meat!! Very happy with it! If he ate it by itself I'd have given it 5 stars..

amazing food switch
This food has been an amazing switch for my dogs. Over the last couple of years my dogs had been eating a different brand food (Merrick) and while they did well on it, the last few months I've noticed an increase of scratching and even so much as a hot spot resulting. Now, I've done allergy panels on my dogs (One is my service dog so he is fully vet checked often to maintain his health for working) and I know they are allergic to grains. No environmental changes had been made and I had came across a article about the cross contamination of grains in some lots. This made me sad. I couldn't continue to give my dogs that, especially since grains are a no no in our household. I did some research and made the switch to Zignature Turkey. I have seen some great results in both their coats, feeding habits (I also have a picky eater and she is enjoying this food quite a bit), and the quality of the food. I Love that the first few ingredients are no fillers and that this company stands by their product. I wish it was easily available in other places, but the price here on Amazon cannot be beat! Local shops sell this for almost $75 a bag- which I cannot afford feeding 4 large breed dogs (I go through 2-3 bags of dog food a month), but the savings here has been amazing! Thanks for helping keep my pets healthy, having a great quality food, and keeping yourselves a company that won't settle for lesser quality ingredients!

Buy it! Your dog's health is worth every penny.
So glad (as are my dogs) that I found a quality dog food. I have a chihuahua and a Yorkie. They are both rescues but the Yorkie came from a puppy mill and some of the most horrendous conditions you can imagine. Bless him, he is allergic to wheat. But, grain-free dog food is easy to find. He is also allergic to yeast and potatoes and sweet potatoes. Try to find a grain-free dog food that doesn't contain potatoes of any kind. Having, in years past, having a dog develop diabetes, I also don't want any food that has sugar in it. That's a really tough one. Even some of the best dog food and, especially, treats have molasses in them. I am so thankful for Zagnature. A recent trip to the vet proved to me the worth of Zignature food. My little Yorkie is in excellent health now. The vet was amazed at just how healthy he is. I change flavors every so often, always adding some of the new flavor a little bit at a time to the 'old' flavor. Zignature may cost of bit more than some other so-called 'good' brands, but prevention of health problems and less expensive than treatment.
