We had a little sheltie girl with a disease requiring her to only eat fish as her protein. Finding treats that weren't too much fat for her was hard, till we found these! They weigh next to nothing so are great to take in my pack on a walk. Breaks into tiny pieces as needed. They're easy to chew - she was old with dull teeth, and loved them. Worth every penny we paid for them, to see her enjoying a snack. They never bothered her delicate tummy.

I discovered the salmon treats from another Veterinary website that cost $5 more a bag. I was so thrilled to find a different brand on amazon. They are just as good as the more expensive ones and these are a high value training treat that I use for my puppy dog. She loves them and its the best way I can get her to learn something new and especially when there's new people that come around. I break out a salmon treat, give her one give the new person one to offer her, and they're best friends for life! I highly recommend these the price is very reasonable and the quality seems very good. The pieces are fairly big except for the ones that kind of break up in packaging but that's to be expected. And those go to the kittie's, they love them too!

These are nice sized and uniform. My dog loves them.

I bought freeze dried salmon treats once before (not this brand, I don't believe) and my dog wouldn't touch them. My new dog will eat these eventually but doesn't relish them. Some decent sized pieces in bag with mostly small pieces and flakes but to be fair product description does state "training treats" and training treats are generally smaller than average dog treats. I'm glad my dog will eventually eat them as I know how important Omega 3 and other fish oils are to all living beings and I want to get my year old dog off to a good start. I very much appreciate that this brand is a bit less expensive than others and I'm getting the same amount and quality.

It’s just salmon, no processing just dried which is wonderfully healthy, in little nice bite sizes pieces - some pieces are small and some pieces are a little bit bigger just by the nature of the product. The sizes were perfect for my 80 pound dog and my 10 pound cat. I bought it for my dog as a high value treat for training but my cat ended up begging for it too. They both love it it’s not crunchy or hard. It’s just dried out. It’s perfect.

I love supporting smaller businesses and also feeding my dog single ingredient treats. He eats raw meat with organs (no kibble or processed anything!) so basically, paleo for dogs, the wolf diet. These treats align with that HEALTHY lifestyle, HOWEVER they are extremely small, 1/4 of the bag is almost like dried salmon dust. This makes its hard to feed to my dog without making a mess. Putting them in his bowl kind of defeats the purpose of feeding as a reward treat. If they could figure out how to make the treats more of a "larger piece" rather than its current shredded state, i would feed these to my dog for the rest of my life.

We have a toy Sheppard that goes bonkers for this freeze dried salmon. I use it as a supplement in addition to her normal dog food. Whenever feeding time comes and this package comes out of the pantry she goes ballistic, barking and running around in circles. Since I’ve started using these salmon pieces her fur has become really smooth (like when conditioner is applied to hair) and the itching she use to do has stopped. Very good product and I would highly recommend.

The smell of these are strong, but they are freeze dried fish so I guess that is a big attraction to my boy. There are varying sizes in the package. It is good to know the ingredient is simple, especially for those dogs with sensitivities.
