Bought a set of these for my significant other's Christmas gift. She was amazed as these are her natural birthstones. She absolutely loves them. The craftsmanship is solid and overall they present for an awe inspiring, speechless, surprise. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is they are a little heavy. After about 30-60 mins. of use she usually takes them off because they pull on her ears and cause a minor amount of pain. Honestly, usually when you buy other jewelry you have the opposite issue so I still count this as a plus but do wish they were a tad more comfortable for her.

I really want this to be what it should/could. Beautiful stones, hearty setting that seems very secure and a simplicity of design that works BUT…As many other commenters have said the way the stud is connected to the drop is wrong. I may take it to a jeweler as it seems an easy fix. Lastly wish these were screw backs.

I don't know what people expect in emeralds for $100, but if you can afford better ones, then you know that unless you're a jeweler who can source them, these are the absolute best you can get for the price.They really do have a presence. That said, I had to take a star because I don't think there's an excuse for the design.The two parts of the setting are connected by a jump ring that is inexplicably placed towards the back of the earring, instead of centered, so the bottom part pitches forward. Not a deal breaker for me, but annoying.I wouldn't wear these to a gala, but they're definitely nice enough for almost any wedding, party, night out, etc.

These are very beautiful earrings but not for causal dress. They are larger than I anticipated and not something you would wear everyday. They are a bit heavy, but great if you are going all-out-fancy. She loved them, but hurt her ears after a few hours. If they were half that size they would have been perfect.
