Godiva Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa Can, 14.5-Ounces, 2 pack

Many years ago my mother melted Cadbury Dairy Milk, mixed it with hot milk, and added a pinch of cinnamon to it. It was the best damn hot chocolate I ever had. When I moved to the US, I tried to find hot chocolate as good as that, but was always sorely disappointed with the awful little packs of hot cocoa that, when mixed with water, tasted artificially sweet and just too thin and sad. This past Christmas, I was determined to get me and my boyfriend the best hot chocolate I could lay my hands on. Enter Godiva.This is as rich as it gets. I bought the "dark chocolate" flavour, and just one look at it tells you it's different from your cheap grocery store brand. The colour is deep brown, and it does *not* smell like sugar. I've tried this with various kinds of non-dairy milk (soy, almond, cashew), and have mixed with my morning espresso with a pinch of nutmeg - all have been excellent experiences. It is decadent, it is tasty, and it is just the right sweetness. If you are having a bad day and need to just be kind to yourself and feel good and pampered, this is a very simple way to do so. Go for it, you absolutely will not regret it. And yes, it makes for an excellent Christmas present as well :-)

This cocoa is one of the best I have tried. Very deep and rich in flavor which makes it perfect to use in coffee. Slightly thicker consistency makes it more of a sipping style chocolate. Excellent dark chocolate flavor. I put this in my coffee and I have to say, it makes a delicious mocha :)I have tried many brands and have found this one to be at the top of my list. Completely recommend.NOTE: I have purchased this a few times and the price seems to go up by approx $12 for the pair at random intervals. If the price is over $35 it's TOO HIGH (it's higher than the $15 each at Godiva.com).Update (April 1, 2013) This is a wonderful product when it's fresh, but the last two sets I received were old and semi-stale in flavor.

I've been a big fan of Godiva products for years; this hot cocoa is one of my favorite Godiva products, and I always buy some during the holidays. This year I purchased this set of two to give out as presents to friends, and I'm happy to say everyone was pleased with the gift. The cocoa has a rich, deep flavor that is much more pronounced than that which you would receive with a store bought cocoa (not that there is anything wrong with those!). Although each serving size seems large (4 tablespoons), it makes a pretty heavenly cup of hot chocolate that's become a favorite around my house.

I truly love this dark hot chocolate, it's the best one I've tried so far. I was very happy to get two of them at a great price because it's so hard to find around here anymore so I thank you Amazon. Macy's use to carry this product during the holidays and now for some reason they are not carrying it anymore, what's up with that Macy's? If you love dark chocolate, you will love this product, very rich and goes very good with the marshmallow cream on a cold evening.

Hands down the best hot cocoa out there

This is my favorite of the 8 premium hot chocolate mixes we bought as Christmas presents to ourselves. Make sure you heat the milk with the cocoa in it till the edges start to simmer. If you don't get it hot enough you will find unmelted chocolate in the bottom of your cup. The taste is wonderful, just like the hot chocolate I got in Paris.

An absolutely great hot chocolate! And try it with Almond Milk sometime, it's great!

I have brought my brother so many kinds of cocoa, he likes this the best. I find it is VERY easy to mix with whiisk and does not leave globs at bottom of cup like so many other companies product. Is very smooth and creamy. (I snuck some and put it in my coffee one morning, very nice!) Even in the hot days now brother still asks for hot cocoa in the afternoon.
